ebevan91
I think the whole Dorne plot was just to add some buddy comedy with Bronn and Jamie plus some Disneys "Pirates of the Caribbean" esque slap stick swashbuckling without any future requirements of story load. That and boobs of course. That feel when Tyene's boobs were the best part of Dorne.
jbob
I'd rather they'd have cut Dorne completely and just kept him in the Riverlands this season. This Dornish sidetrip was ridiculous across the board. Then what do they do with him next season? And the next season after? Think of it as like Bran disappearing for a season. Instead they just give him a different plot. Though I will admit they could've done a better job of it.
brown ben romney
so ellaria literally kills myrcella and essentially kills trystane in the process in order to provoke a war? Like WTF?? God dorne was such a mess this season.
BitsOfBrains
The Cersei scene was actually pretty great. They make you feel sorry for pretty much the blackest hearted person in the series. They make you hate yourself for hating her. I can only imagine the acting chops it took to be able to walk buck naked through a crowd of people chucking stuff at you and stay level. I can hardly run buck naked through a crowd of people that don't know I am coming without losing it a little. And most of those people don't throw stuff at me. Plus at the end with the zombie eyes, all purple and decrepit looking. Awesome.
Lord Lannister
You know.... I thought the Jaime/Myrcella scene was going to be the one nice part of the episode. You have such a wonderful moment where they embrace as father and daughter for the first time(however creepy it is still) and the hope of making up for lost time and having a relationship. Nope. Screw you, dead. It doesn't even make sense. The Sand Snake still want a war for... reasons. Okay... can you be any more stupid to do it with the kiss of death that kills her not half a mile away from the docks in that manner? 1) Bronn was poisoned in exactly the same way. There's going to be no ambiguity at all. They may as well have left a business card in Myrcella's pocket that reads, "Fuck you all - The Sand Snakes."2) Trystane likely kissed her at some point. So they want him dead too?3) If he's not dead, he's a Lannister hostage.4) If Jaime turned the ship around and told Doran what happened, he'd likely kill the Sand Snakes for him. But I'm sure with bad writing this will provoke the fight everyone wants because the script says so next season. Joy.

Jeremy Szal
I'm still not unconvinced that they won't turn the ship around and demand to know what happened. Who else could they suspect? And then the Sand Snakes will be finished. At least, that's what I'd like to think. It shocked me either way.

Yeah, most of this season just felt like they were putting a gun to the audience's head. Sure it was shocking, but it's not exactly enjoyable. WiDMNDBAMMD
I think is possible that Myrcella isn't actually dead. I won't hold my breath for it, but why else go to the trouble of poisoning Bronn and then giving him the antidote, and then showing Ellaria taking the antidote, as well? And what happens to Trystane in all of this? This Dorne subplot has been a complete mess. Why bother? The point of showing the poisoning of Bronn, his nose bleeding and then showing him taking the same antidote that Ellaria took was so that it was clear that Myrcella was going to die. Does Trystane have an antidote? Did Bronn save a little bit? Is there a Maester on board? How long does it take to kill the person? It's called the "long farwell" right? Bronn was in his cell we have to assume for at least a few hours or a day or so before the effects started to work?

The Ghost of Rhaegar
A soon as her and Jaime were so happy in each others arms I said oh shit, she's dead. I also called the poison lipstick when they kissed. Im sure many of us did. Its probably not a good sign they were so easy to see coming... Kept thinking.... please cut away, cut away. But alas. Dorne was disaster this season. I guess all that mattered is they end with a defacto state of war. I don't recall if it was Balon Swan coming with the Mountain's skull that would arrive and fine out that Oakheart is dead and Mycella is injured. He might have tried to leave with the princess and Doran would have been oh F.... it and have the party intercepted even after setting Arienne to higher plan

stratus
I've got some questions: Myrcella: is she really dead? (possible, but couls Trystane possibly have an antidote? )second thing: winter is coming: I don't know it's any informationn at all, but in a several years of winter it's acctually Dorne, which is the best place to make food supplies (am I wrong?); so: in the next season that would be very important thing to keep with Dorne in good political relationship, because they could have most of the available suppliesand that would be their power: power in stead of supplies for the other lands(ok, i can see how stupid it looks like, but isn't it a possible plot?) The Kinkslayer
The Dorne storylines in my opinion were pretty weak in the books, but somehow Dumb & Dumber managed to come with something even more absurd than Dorkstar. Bravo.
Victor227
I'm all aboard with anything thinking that the stupid ship scene should have cut away right before they went for lousy shock value. The episode needed one moment. One warm moment. Something that wouldn't leave you hating it and the world. I saw it coming a mile off, and I hated it every second as it occurred. Currawong
Well, you know she's going to die in the books anyway, so things have just been hastened along. At least they didn't have her mutilated as George did. Couldn't possibly have them doing something cheap and nasty just because it was in the books you know! Obviously she was going to die at some stage on the way home: the only questions in my mind was when and how.
isiman
Jaime didn't turn back because this was an unretractable (is that a word?) act of war and they have the perfect hostage. He's not going to step back into enemy territory and turn himself into a hostage in the process. Ellaria and the Snakes wanted war. Mission accomplished. No, it's still stupid. Jaime knows that this wasn't Doran's doing, considering Trystane is travelling with him as a potential hostage. He also knows that the Sand Snakes did this, going against Doran's commands. So if he turns back, he has a good chance of preventing a war. Still, even if Jaime doesn't think like that...he shouldn't have control of the ship.Just doesn't make any sense. The ship is obviously a Dornish ship, travelling with the heir of Dorne and his escort.Jaime is alone with Bronn. He shouldn't be able to make the calls. Trystane would turn the ship. The fact is, Dorne is meant to go to war against the Lannisters. But the show has cut Aegon, and only maiming Myrcella wouldn't have been enough. So they kill her.Fine, but it was all clumsy and stupid. lancerman
I'm still wondering if she's actually dead. They did 3 deaths tonight that mattered but they cut away fast on all of them. Stannis is definitely dead though he had the most "ambiguous" of them all. Jon will come back but it might be a long work in progress. I feel like we could get a sickly Myrcella who just barely survived.
