Is he a ham?
Hurt by Nine Inch Nails and Johny Cash makes me think of Tyrion: Creep by Radiohead makes me think of Tyrion and Tysha. I prefer this version over the original so I'll link this: Demons by Imagine Dragons makes me think of Jaime: Bleeding Out by Imagine Dragons makes me think of Sandor and Sansa and Arya: Alone by Marshmello makes me think of Sansa: Alone by Alan Walker makes me think of Jon and Arya: Godzilla's March by Akira Ifukube makes me think of Drogon's entrance in the fighting pits: The Joker theme by Hans Zimmer makes me think of Euron: That's Life by Frank Sinatra applies to most main characters:

Elegant Woes
One sweet day by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men for House Stark. In my opinion this captures the bittersweet feeling I expect the remaining Starks feel when they think of Ned, Catelyn and Robb. Hero by Mariah Carey for Sansa. It fits her narrative quite well. Eternally_Theirs
Curse my Name by Blind Guardian makes me think of Walder Frey as he orders Robb killed, and the Manderlys and co in the second half. (I've tried embedding a video of a song, but it didn't work, so you'll have to do without it)
Rose of Red Lake
Father John Misty, Well You Can Do It Without Me, sounds like he was reading asoiaf while writing it. If you see a flaming sword in your dreams at night And feel inspired to assign me up to the front line Well give the order, you'll storm the border without me If they tell you you're a genius but you need some proof Ask anybody on the payroll to go out with you If they avoid ya, then they'll award ya definitely Nobody that's around just seems to get it right How hard is it to follow just a few guidelines And smile while you do it If you want a page written 'bout you in the book But you need a food tester 'cause you curse the cook I'll take some wine but you can dine without me Without me Who would let you play God And make-believe that all the blasphemy Is coming only from me? If you're bound for the throne but the king won't die I can occupy the queen but that's for her and I I can do her and you'll be ruler without me Yeah you can do it But you can do it without me
Eternally_Theirs
Also, Wolf and Raven by Sonata makes me think of Roose and Robb. Specifically, these lines: Fear for life I wear as a ring (Robb, the wolf)I bask in your favor, I have killed the king (Roose, the raven)
The Map Guy
Daenerys Targaryen was no stranger to the Dothraki sea, the great ocean of grass that stretched from the forest of Qohor to the Mother of Mountains and the Womb of the World. She had seen it first when she was still a girl, newly wed to Khal Drogo and on her way to Vaes Dothrak to be presented to the crones of the dosh khaleen. The sight of all that grass stretching out before her had taken her breath away. The sky was blue, the grass was green, and I was full of hope. Ser Jorah had been with her then, her gruff old bear. She'd had Irri and Jhiqui and Doreah to care for her, her sun-and-stars to hold her in the night, his child growing inside her. Rhaego. I was going to name him Rhaego, and the dosh khaleen said he would be the Stallion Who Mounts the World. Not since those half-remembered days in Braavos when she lived in the house with the red door had she been as happy. {Daenerys X ADWD - 2011} ....take her breath away!!! The sky was blue ... kind of reminds me of Kelly McGillis' blue eyes. I think I remember Old Nan telling us stories that the sky was blue because they lived in the eyeball of a blue eyed giant. 2011 TV Stuff Spoiler Blue eyed giant .... hmmmm ... well Kelly McGillis is taller than Tom Cruise by a few inches ... and Tom Cruise has green eyes! ... the grass was green Almost kind of reminds me of the blue-eyed giant Brienne and green-eyed Jaime. In future ASOIAF, wouldn't it be nice if Brienne and Jaime take each others' breaths away? So full of hope, and perhaps with a symbolic Bear nearby too? It would also be cool if they were both DNA descendant of Dunk & Egg. Ahhhhhhhhhhh @ 2:56 time-mark of the music video ... too much tongue Tom Cruise, too much tongue!!!! What a freak ... what are you gonna do next? Bite her?? Anyways Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Narsil4
This one has been giving me pretty strong Mel vibes. Quote Lady evil, evil She's a magical, mystical woman With an awful shout, she'll find you out And have you for the night And never trust your shadow in the dark 'Cause there's a lady I know who takes your vision And it turns all around This makes me think of the Night's Watch, Ned and Ice. Quote I, I am the sword I am the word of the Lord I am the one to sever your head I am the promise unmade Centuries pass, dust in the wind I shall remain, shining in sin The metal I am, the iron you feel The song of the dead The chorus of steel I break the oath that you made This one seemed appropriate for the Faceless Men. Quote He moves so slowly but he's coming after you Nowhere to hide and not a thing that you can do Don't try to run, he's gonna find you day or night He's gonna steal your face

The Map Guy
"Someone could make a rare fine song of that." Tom plucked a string on his woodharp. Lady Smallwood gave him a withering look. "Someone who doesn't rhyme 'carry on' with 'Dondarrion', perhaps. [...] {Arya IV ASOS} Bill Withers - Lean On MeSometimes in our lives we all have pain We all have sorrow But if we are wise We know that there's always tomorrow Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry onFor it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on I hope everyone is doing well out there in these tough times. There will be a tomorrow. Until then, we can lean on each other (not physically of course) to get through this ... and carry on.
