Bonesy
Went to Great American last night. First time in Cincinnati. From what I saw near the park, that is a lovely city. The park itself it pretty damned cool. But why. no bleachers?! The fans were perfectly friendly to this fellow wearing orange and black. All ten of them. Would def go again. They played that on the radio yesterday. I'm not ready to give up on the Pirates and call them done, but I expected a bit more out of them with this first series against the Cubs...ah who am I kidding? Down with Pittsburgh! kairparavel
He's so loveably goofy and rolypoly, it's easy to forget he's a formerly 50 game suspended cheater who was part of the Biogenesis probe, eh.
James Arryn
Don't think I've ever seen a pitcher fall off as sharply as Drew Storen w/o health issues. Over the winter he's lost ~ 4-5 mph and almost all movement on all pitches, effectively making him a straight 90/flat slider late inning specialist. A lot of Jays fans are chalking it up to NL pitcher syndrome, but he's looked just as awful against the Dodgers. Cecil's also fallen off the table, but I at least have some faith he's due to turn it around. Storen might be just plain done. Only hope is the wacky consistency of bullpen pitching in general. Ramsay B.
J.T. Realmuto hits a homer and upon watching his shot passes Ozuna, who was weirdly going back to tag up on 1st, on the base path. So it only counts as a single and an RBI and an out. I've never seen that before. Yes, enlighten us on the recent developments.

Mexal
Scherzer just threw 20Ks and no walks tonight against the Tigers tonight. Jesus. Quote Chase Hughes @chasehughesCSN 14m14 minutes ago This is Scherzer's 41st start with Nats. 2 no-hitters, a 16-K one-hitter and a 20-strikeout gem. Almost 10% of his starts have been historic He also threw 119 pitches, 96 of which were strikes. That's nuts.
