The conspiracy charges dont' make it worse, they just make it so that he can be charged and sentenced in the same manner as if he were the one who actually broke into the house and beat up the victim. I'm not sure about your second question - that's a substantive legal question - but the sentence for a conspiracy charge is never greater than the governing penal statute of the crime itself that was conspired. However, I believe it is possible to be charged with two counts - the crime itself, and conspiracy to commit the crime, if one were to organize a conspiracy and were also the central perpetrator of the crime itself. Similarly, I went to a different school when that happened. You wouldn't have seen it. Ansah is fine. He gets pumped up because of early days with Suh and by dint of being the only Lions front7 member with athletic ability. He is a good player, not a special one.
