Maltaran
I recognise ASOIAF and WOT, and the lamppost is presumably Narnia, but what do the others symbolise? I feel I should recognise the circle-inside-triangle one.
deleted01
Aw yeah, the Deathly Hallows! Love it!I'm booked in towards the end of February to get my thestral done. Well, started. If I can sit for two and a half hours I'll be chuffed, but I'm a huge wimp, so who knows.

Rubies & Jade
Yay for Drac & Coral, that anticipation of having an appointment & thinking about your design & the new work is awesome. I love that! :) Coral, who did you end up going with and how'd you find the person?
KiDisaster
http://imgur.com/9M2daxE And since Peter wants Brony nonsense: http://imgur.com/Ocjgrzu Holy crap that's you?! I just saw your thread on /r/fantasy and was admiring your library :D Love the tattoo as well. I recognise ASOIAF and WOT, and the lamppost is presumably Narnia, but what do the others symbolise? I feel I should recognise the circle-inside-triangle one. The pan flutes are Kingkiller Chronicle I believe, the circle-inside-triangle is the Deathly Hallows symbol (Harry Potter) and the tree is Tolkien. I think I'm finally going to be getting my first tattoo for my 24th this year in April. Probably the Keywork symbol (http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091212193306/coheed/images/c/cf/Keywork_(logo).gif) because it's something I thought of getting years ago and I still haven't decided "Nah, that would be really stupid" as I do with every other idea for a tattoo I've ever come up with. I realize it's a very common tattoo but that doesn't really bother me. Just need to find an artist I trust to get it right, seen way too many pictures online of people whose artists didn't get it right and that would drive me insane. It's going to be on or right under my hip bone, on the left side (I'm left handed) in all black the compass then in color a single peacock feathers that wraps around it. And if I don't get the peacock then I'll just get a regular black feather. Imagine these two together on my hiphttp://pinterfull.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/890d997af01ed6e82d4a0dcb87c52090.jpgEdit: So sorry about that http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/compass-rose-judy-merrell.jpgOrhttp://mt-st.rfclipart.com/image/big/ee-b7-aa/compass-rose-Download-Royalty-free-Vector-File-EPS-2054.jpgAnd for peacock feather thishttp://www.drewstormgraham.com/resources/Peacock-Feather/Peacock-feather-1100.jpg

Almost all my ink is on the left side of my body for some reason (and I'm not left handed!). at some point I'll need to get more on the right. :cool4:
Tellus Explorer
Lol, thanks Jade. The peacock feather is supposed to represent beauty and luck and basically a lot of good vibes and that's exactly what I feel when I travel.
deleted01
That's a good point. I have 2 on my right side, one in the middle, and 3-soon-to-be-4 on my left. Maybe it's unconsciously because I'm right-handed, so I can have tattoos on my left arm and still do stuff :P
Hereward
I'm planning to get a full back tattoo of Edmund Burke reading from Reflections on the Revolution in France, combined with a left-arm and shoulder representation of Ian Botham playing a hook shot against Australia in the 1981 Ashes and a right arm tableau of Margaret Thatcher righteously confiscating milk from schoolchildren. It's going to be epic. Unless it hurts.
