Frances Bean Corbray
Wainwright's 27.00 era can duck my cock. Kershaw could do seven or eight innings of two hit baseball easy. All Stars be damned. I would like to think that Kershaw, had he started, would not have thrown a gift meatball so Jeter could get an easy hit in his last All-Star game. Perhaps even buzzed Jeter for stepping back out of the box to tip his cap again. That's a show-up move there :)

DanteGabriel
Dear MLB, Could you have spared 30 seconds from the endless Jeter knob-polishing to remember Tony Gwynn?
Arch-MaesterPhilip
Dear MLB, Could you have spared 30 seconds from the endless Jeter knob-polishing to remember Tony Gwynn?I was really upset about that as well.

Manhole Eunuchsbane
Mike Matheny should be banned from participating in an all-star game in any capacity ever again. Beat him in the NLCS. Simple fix.
Manhole Eunuchsbane
Dear MLB, Could you have spared 30 seconds from the endless Jeter knob-polishing to remember Tony Gwynn? SO MUCH THIS. RIP Tony. Best pure hitter of our generation, IMHO.
Lightning Lord
Dear MLB, Could you have spared 30 seconds from the endless Jeter knob-polishing to remember Tony Gwynn? Gwynn wasn't a Yankee or Red Sock. So...his being dead probably makes ESPN and MLB happier, as they can now pretend that even fewer players exist beyond those two markets. Asshats. I miss you, Tony. You rocked the batter's box and by all accounts were a totally stand-up dude. Even if the douchecanoes that run the league/networks forgot about you as fast as possible. Ferrum Aeternum
The Dan Uggla era has finally come to an end in Atlanta. This news made my day. Long, long overdue. Also glad this officially passes the torch to La Stella. Love the way that guy plays.

Arch-MaesterPhilip
Yanks are easily the hottest 2nd half team. McCarthy pickup of the year.I want to agree but it's too soon. Beltran is swinging a good bat and McCann is finally coming around so it looks promising. I think they oughta give Luis Severino and Peter O'Brien a shot. MercenaryChef
Greinke's first back-to-back losses in four years. That's an impressive streak. But too bad for Los Doyers. Cards getting a bit of payback for that horrific series in LA a few weeks ago.Shut up.I hate you.
childe roland
Dear Matt Kemp, I would also like to see you play everyday. Other things I would like include you fielding your position and swinging the bat like a competent ball player. That is all
Ghjhero
It was a pretty awesome night. I went to the Red Sox Royals game and I got a Big Papi home run ball during batting practice and Mike Napoli homered! He has gone yard 3 out of the 4 games I've been to since he's been on the team! kairparavel
Dude, that was lame. If we can all agree that was an accident on Hanley, then Kershaw should be better than that. But Holliday sliding in on Ramirez like that? Then it's all even. Arsewipe.
