(Got a phone call at 12, thought I started at 5). As a genuine one-off mistake it shouldn't really effect things too much, and from what you've said on the forum before you are a good employee at the museum, I'm sure they will be fine. I had three items and when I looked she had a bunch of stuff in her cart. I politely told her I only have three items and would be done quick, and she called me a fucking asshole. I took my sweet old time to checkout and after I was done she had moved to another register was checking out, I politely walked by her and told her to fuck off, which got me escorted from the building by two employees...normally I would've kept my mouth shut as I'm about as laid back as it gets and it takes a lot to get me agitated, but man this lady pissed me off. I don't know who did it, though my neighbor had a party last night, and is an obvious candidate to at least know who did, but I hate pointing fingers without evidence, nor can I prove that I didn't do it myself. I really, really, really can't afford to pay for it myself right now, nor do I think I should, but I can't prove that I didn't do it. I'm torn. Do I talk to my neighbor first, and ask if he knows who did it? Repairing the door has to go through the co-op anyway, so I can't get around that, but doing that immediately kind of feels like snitching, and could mean I have to pay for it myself since I have no proof I didn't do it... FUCK! On a different note, getting a working holiday visa (12 months) to Australia was a piece of cake, though it was rather expensive (400 dollars, IIRC), and there's an age cutoff from 18-30. Boris the Blade Posted September 7, 2016 Share Posted September 7, 2016 IDK if I would really say annoying, but just waiting to hear back from the vet about my eldest beagle, Max. He had two seizures today less than 10 minutes apart and was foaming while having them. He almost had a third one on their treatment table. They have no answer to whether or not he will be okay, they are waiting to see how he is tomorrow, but from what the doctor said, he thinks he could possibly medicate it. This dog has been through a lot, and though times he can be a pain, he's still a lovable dog that has such a funny and unique personality. It sucks to see him have gone through that and sucks to not know what the outcome will be. He has had a hell of a life though and was loved a lot, but still would like to see him around a bit longer. I can't find his leash, so I manage to rig up a yoga strap to his collar. Everyone at the vet's office laughs heartily at this. I get to work, and every crappy attitude and bad behavior in the building seems to be directed at me. I'm headed to the beach with my honey at the end of this month. It can't get here soon enough. Why would you call a woman an oversensitive bitch because she was uncomfortable with the advances of some male? Why would you call me a ferocious MRA all because I dislike Anita Sarkeesian and dispute her points? This forum is rampant with this kind of garbage - it's everywhere - spoken by people who at the very same time consider themselves highly intelligent, civilized humans. I truly just cannot fathom how anyone can operate in this manner. Every trip to the General Chatter board cements my lack of faith in both these political parties. The fact that people who spew this kind of nonsense are the ones deciding how the future plays out absolutely amazes me. And not in a good way. But not me! Anyway, its pouring buckets right now so I imagine tomorrow will be a muggy mess. My minor annoyance will be navigating the traffic consisting of people dropping off their younglings at school and being a general nuisance on the road, forgetting basic courtesy and whatnot.
