baxus
Partizan's manager has been complaining about the streakers/pitch invaders/legends/idiots.It's a bit rich, coming from a manager of the team whose "fan" (one of the firm's top boys) has come pitch-side (over a ditch, a hedge, a fence and past the stewards) to take the team captain's armband because "he was not worthy of wearing it".The worst part isn't that the hooligan in question has tried it, it's not even that he's succeeded... It's that after that, the club held a press conference where the hooligan said that he took the armband as a souvenir and the player had to sit there nodding and say that they are friends. Grand Moff Mithrandir
Lol what on earth is going on in serbian football? Defecting ultras, armband snatching idiots. It's a circus.
baxus
Lol what on earth is going on in serbian football? Defecting ultras, armband snatching idiots. It's a circus. It's literally a free-for-all. Clubs are not private property but are state-owned, or town-owned or company-owned or whatever. As a result, you don't really have anyone in charge and budgets are interpreted rather creatively. Managers push their players through the ranks as best serves them, rather than players in question or clubs. Not only that, managers obtain ownership (partial or full) of players' transfer rights at a young age so clubs don't even get that much money from selling players. Weak league, with pretty much no interest from the public leads to no money from broadcasting rights and tickets. Clubs are more and more in debt - Crvena Zvezda was banned from Europe this season because of their debts to former players, managers etc. Ultras are way out of control, much more invested in various criminal activities (included but not limited to extortion, assault, drug trafficking and murder) than in their clubs' matches. The worst part is that the two clubs that are the worst in that regard are considered national clubs and any slight on either of them is blown way out of proportion. Anyone who'd go directly against either of them would face public outrage which would be as fierce as it would be mind-baffling.

Mexal
 Another Arsenal player off injured. So stupid. Monreal plays CB for games then Koscielny comes back and he's injured in first 10 minutes. I am enjoying our offensive play so far but we really need to finish. Consigliere
United starting XI: De Gea, Smalling, Carrick, Rojo, Valencia, Fellaini, Mata, Di Maria, Young, Rooney, van Persie Subs: Lindegaard, Blackett, McNair, Fletcher, Herrera, Januzaj, Falcao Good to see Rojo has recovered but it looks like we are going with three at the back again with Carrick at CB. We haven't looked comfortable playing three at the back so this looks like it could be another nervy game.
polishgenius
Van Persie starting again. :bang: If we are playing three at the back, that means Fellaini's playing as the deepest midfielder, and I'm very uncertain about that. Of course, the alternative is Young and Valencia as full-on fullbacks.
Grand Moff Mithrandir
Oh how the tables have turned! Fellaini is now a favored son.
Consigliere
Credit where credit is due. Fella has really stepped up and has been our best outfield player in the last 5 or 6 games.
Raja
Well done Welbeck, all about momentum at the moment and we might have been slightly lucky to hold onto it, but I'll take it. Rather surprised that Cazorla managed to beat Wisdom for pace, but the latter was probably just caught flat footed.
Mexal
Thought Arsenal played well today. Interesting to see Giroud, Welbeck and Sanchez on the pitch together for the first time this season. I thought they combined well though the result of those combinations fell to Cazorla who can't shoot but the thought was there. Happy Welbeck finally got on the score sheet again, it's been a long time coming. Sanchez was more or less a non factor today but he works so hard, so at least he's not a passenger. There is so much potential on this team but the final shot/ball still alludes us for the most part (really miss Ozil here). Nice to have Cazorla back to providing the assists, he's really turned it on since coming back into the side and playing a more central role. Ramsey is still rubbish but at least he's making those runs into the box again. All in all, solid game, we just need better finishing as usual. Raja
Side note, how is Samaras not a 100 years old by now? The man's ancient. Edit: 66/70 Passes completed by Santi today, hope he keeps this up/

Mark Antony
We are so poop *sigh*Johnson and Enrique are really not very good. Manquillo and Moreno might be prone to a few errors but I wish they were starting.
Consigliere
I love goal line technology. Di Maria has added to our ever growing list of injuries. Hopefully it isn't too serious.

Mark Antony
Lambert is so isolated up top. Thought BR would have learned by now 1 up top is fucking stupid
Consigliere
Van Persie hasn't been anonymous as he was last week but he has still contributed the least. Herrera has done really well since coming on. That first half was some of the best football we have played all season.
