OnionAhaiReborn
About to go to bed but the Lucinda Williams led me to this one. My mom used to crank this in the car all the time when I was a kid. The 'and I lit another cigarette' line gets me every time. I fucking love Lucinda Williams but strangely I've never listened to any Mary Chapin Carpenter- I mean, I've probably heard her version of Passionate Kisses in my life but I couldn't call it to mind like I can the original. Anyway, I like the song you linked, I'll have to check her out. In the same vein: Holly Williams - Drinkin', The Highway, Giving Up

Theda Baratheon
Kuruki - Crocodile Tears suuuuper underrated, kinda obscure minimal 80s synth pop!!!!!!!! and probably one of my favourite songs tbh, especially when it really kicks in at 1:25 - always thought the singer had a very bowie type voice!!!! love it. Theda Baratheon
listening to Ricky Gervais' doomed New Wave group Seona Dancing whom I actually REALLY love.
