“Every battle on Thrones is unique,” Sapochnik tells us. “I think that’s why [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] keep doing them. In the case of ‘Battle of the Bastards’ – or ‘BOB’ as we affectionately called it in production – David and Dan wanted to do a thing of spectacle, a strategic pitchfield battle they hadn’t had the resources to do back in season 1 or 2. I was particularly interested in depicting both the horror of war and the roll of luck in battle.”

Fanfic. And it is with horses!!! But no money for the direwolves :bang: Ghost won't probably not even appear next episode.

So it seems we'll get more of Mereen than we thought in the next episode. Theon and Asha arrive and meet Dany. Obviously Dany and Asha will hit it off and do some girl bonding.

Twist: Theon gets a new burning pecker and takes the role of Victarion.

Oh I'm sure Ghost will appear and I'm sure we're not going to like it when he does.  I'm expecting the Summer treatment.

He was too depressed to carry on, Jon neglects him, sometimes he even has to find his own food, and they lock the gate at night, so he sits there huddled and lonely until morning, when some kind gatekeeper is too in fear of his life to even pat him on the head. So he decided to end it all one night. He threw himself into a bunch of wights like Summer, anything is better than the life of a neglected direwolf.

Speaking of neglected direwolves, how are the showrunners going to ramrod Nymeria back into the plot?

She found Ghost and they had the touching reunion Jon and Arya should have had, but it was offscreen, of course.

They'll kill the horses.  Bank on it.

Very happy w/my decision to stop watching.

They just forgot all about Stranger, too. Next thing you know, Sandor will be riding a black horse. They killed the Silver on a whim, the next thing you know, Dany was riding a silver horse.

Did I not tell you they would forget about Stranger?  LOL.

Note the director complains that horses are difficult.  Just like they complained that the cat was difficult and the dogs were difficult.

But, no doubt, when he gets a horse, it will be black.

I fucking hate them.  Note the director complains that horses are difficult.  Just like they complained that the cat was difficult and the dogs were difficult.  Animal hating assholes.

Yeah, it's not like they have been shooting Westerns for decades or anything.

I'm just going to pretend he's Stranger. I'm going to call him Stranger and everything. To hell with that.

Two seasons ago I'd have agreed, but I know better now than to expect such things.

When is the last time they managed to include any awesome book dialogue without fucking it up somehow? If they don't omit all of Manderly's book quotes altogether (which is most likely), they'll probably give them to Littlefinger.

This just reminds me how pissed off I was that, for some reason, the show decided to have Jaime threaten Edmure with a CATapult instead of a trebouchet?  Why, exactly?  I thought things with the word or sound of  CAT were out of bounds anyway.........like OnlyCAT or CAToftheCanals?

Goddamn those animals.  They never read their lines when you tell them to.

LMAO.

So, the show can squeeze in a fat joke, and some fart or cock jokes as well w/Manderly.

Why oh why oh why I wonder would the Northern lords who the last episodes told the Starks to fuck off, saw the Starks rush into battle in a suicide mission, change their minds because they got their asses saved by an army from the Vale, that nobody knew was coming?

It's laughably bad.  And stupid.  And senseless.

I guess the North just always goes with the winner is the moral of GOT, no matter whether they're the family that ruled justly for thousands of years or a mad dog who feeds his relatives to the actual dogs.

Really, the show version has Northern loyalty seem like some horrible game of musical chairs.  It is the only reason I can find for so many to be loyal to Ramsey, a man who just killed all his own blood relatives.  Surely, the Rams seems trustworthy, one to risk, and bet......one's own life on.  As Walder Frey would say, Heh!!

Ha, of course Sandor will be given a black horse, if he's given one at all.  It's part of his wardrobe, it's not like that horse was his friend and companion.   A horse will show up when needed, in the right color for wardrobe, just like boobs were once background props, and for some reason, this year.........warty dicks happen to be the new Naked Ladies for scenery.  It's all about appearances.......not substance, that goes for the horses and the wolves.

(I have heard complaints on horses being expensive too, for filming, over the years, not just uncooperative.  We know where they like to spend money, cough, cough, faces in the dark, cough cough)
