Leicester are having a great season but their manhandling at the hands of City and now Liverpool just shows that the gulf in class between those two and the rest of the league is immense.

Yeah, Leicester will almost certainly finish the season having done really well but the last two games have been a bit of a reality check. They've lost the two games by an aggregate of six goals and it really should have been quite a few more.

Other than some of the finishing that was a fantastic performance from Liverpool. They've completely suffocated a really good side in Leicester. Obviously Alexander-Arnold was great but we're starting to see signs of the player we thought we were getting in Keita too.

Great result and a great performance.  TAA is the closest player to KDB at the moment, and Gomez, Keita and Henderson all had great games despite returning from long injuries and playing out of position.  A pity that Salah was well off form after looking sharp in Qatar, but he did play all of both games there to fulfill FIFA’s regional marketing of him.  Good substitutions today to keep it fresh.

We have far less room than City to rotate in the games ahead.  Other teams will be tired too, of course, but here’s hoping we can keep our momentum.  January last year was when our title bid collapsed.

In order to lose the title from here you'd have to lose five games while City put together a 22 game winning streak.

City are capable of that.  So we have to keep momentum and minimize dropped points.  Draws are almost as bad as losses when you have a rival who can win 100% of their games.

Look at last season.  We were very unlucky to lose to City, but then draws with United and Everton cost us the league title.

Yeah didn’t City win 18 in a row last year to win it?

This city appear to be far from the city of the previous 2 seasons. I dont think that Liverpool have to worry about city winning out. Liverpool choking appears the only way they dont win it now. That or a couple of key injuries and going deep in the champions league and FA cup.

Obviously it depends what they do in the transfer window.

I don't think they are (it's never been done) but even if they do you lost 1 game all last season. You lost 5 the entire season before. Draws are 'almost as bad' if you're even or chasing but if I count it right if two of those five necessary losses become draws you're still golden.

I know no-one wants to count their chickens before they've hatched but you'd have to combine an unprecedented collapse with an unprecedented City win streak. Like maybe if we nick Klopp and you replace him with Jamie Carragher you might not win the title.
