Señor de la Tormenta
This might be one of Martins hiden weapons to reaaaaally piss us off... Whose head is under Robert Strong helmet? None? Gregors? Random?..... Oberyn? .... Robert Baratheon? (I would set all my books in fire if Martin does this)... One of Cerseis dwarfs heads? Neds?... Robbs? :-SI got a bad feeling about this! Arthur Dayne's Honor
It just better not be Robb's that's all I gotta say.
Seven Bloody Hells
Syrio's.
Arya kiddin'
There is no head I think. And that is a very creepy thought.See how opening the visor is specifically written here. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood. Mountain Tribesman
Syrio's. You're assuming he's dead, which is very far from certain.
Jon of the Dead
There is no head I think. Arya kiddin'
:agree: And the poison turned his blood thick and black...shivers... Oberyn did the nasty indeed. With how many, and in what ways, one can only speculate. (See how many ways you can interpret this sentence :D )
Dagon
Creepy indeed... my guess is no head since he's undertaken a "Vow of Silence." Though that doesn't really hold up considering he needs to be able to see his opponents. It's possible Qyburn is guiding him, but that leads to further questions of how he's able to perform without Gregor's monstrous battle prowess. Florina Laufeyson
I like the "no head at all" theory because how spooky would that be? Our very own headless horseman knight!? But if he has a head, i bet its Oberyn's fucked up squished ass dome.

Ser Greg of House House
I really dislike the idea of a headless knight. I don't think it's creepy, it's actually stupid. Yeah, I know, magic... But still. Even zombies need heads... How could a KG "live" without one? But the more I think about it, the more I believe having some famous head would be even stupider. I mean... Bob's head? That would be... lame.
Mithras
Does anybody know what Qyburn did to those poor people Cersei gave him? Did he used them as spare parts?
King Tyrion VIII
My favorite theory is it's King Robert's head.
IRON BANK
I thought the monster was headless, but if its Robs head I will lose it, I mean seriously I wil be so upset I might set the book down for 5 minutes. as I scream.
Minsc
How can it be Oberyn's head as surely the Martells wouldn't want that along with his other bones in order to give him a burial as I doubt they would just leave his body with the Lannisters? hardhome
I think the simplest is best, Gregor Clegane, the real question is: Whose head did Doran Martell receive?
thecryptile
Doran Martell probably got the head of the dwarf septon.
The hairy bear
Falyse is the obvious candidate, as Cersei gave her to Qyburn for "his experiments". Of course it's "magic" and George can do whatever he wants, but I would have problems swallowing the use of the head of someone dead for more than a year such as King Robert, Ned or Syrio. Putrefaction would be well advanced, and the eyes sockets would be empty.
Lady Valicious
I think the simplest is best, Gregor Clegane, the real question is: Whose head did Doran Martell receive? I always wondered if Doran really got his head... if he didn't, it's definitely his head. But I "like" the idea of no head at all because it's so damn creepy :D
