Ferrum Aeternum
14 over 3 is the new 12 over 5. That was a crazy end, how long was Baylor scoreless? No points in the final 2:54, no FGs in the final 5:47. Remarkable.
MisterOJ
No points in the final 2:54, no FGs in the final 5:47. Remarkable. Now your guys better come through for me and make the Sweet 16 like I predicted.
Greywolf2375
Rough tournament for 3 seeds thus far. Oklahoma better watch out. yeah, might have picked the wrong 3-14. Last changes I made this morning was to switch UAB & ISU. But this is what makes this a great time of year.
Ferrum Aeternum
Now your guys better come through for me and make the Sweet 16 like I predicted. Like I predicted too, obviously. :P At least I'm not as big a homer as Eli Manning.

We almost had the exact same Final Four, but I decided to pick the Dirty Birds to knock out UVA in the Elite 8.
davos
I think that a lot of people who are picking the "obvious" choice of Kentucky may want to avoid being similarly predictable on the other side of the bracket. At least that's what my armchair psychologist says.Want to win your pool in a year where there is a heavy favorite to win it all, there are two viable strategies. The first is to stick with the favorite for champion and go with several less conventiinal predictions for deep runs. Rather the favorite wins or chokes, you will need something to set your bracket apart from the others who have the same champion.Of course, the other option, is to pick against the favorite and pray. Ded As Ned
So glad I had Baylor and ISU losing in the next round. Now I really freaking need SMU to pull through for me
Bronn Stone
If Bryce Alford shoots 80% from the 3-point line, UCLA is pretty good....

In smaller pools I think its fine to pick the favorite and try to find some non-conventional picks (like a #3 seed going FF/championship game). But in the really big pools, I think you have to go against the favorite, since if you don't, no matter what you do someone else will have also done it and done it better. That's why I have Arizona winning it all in my entry to CBS' massive bracket challenge instead.

Doesn't play so well on the stock market, but not a bad strategy for a million dollar bracket.
Tyrion the Perfect
Wow, Big 12 getting pimp slapped early. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come for my beloved Jayhawks (Wichita St. scares me). Also hoping for SMU to get back in this game against UCLA. Larry Brown going deep into the tournament would be a great story.

Ferrum Aeternum
I'd love to see a game from this Ole Miss team where we come out with something other than absolute clownshoes for perimeter defense.

davos
Texas was considered by some as a legit contender but ended up as one of the last teams into the field. They now completed their disasterous season as a 1 and done. The big 12 is not exactly showering itself in glory so far.
Ramsay B.
UCLA! Dumb play by the SMU dude since that shot had no chance of going in. Ouch
