If you want a bad guy, I'll be your villain. Just say the word and we can start a Bad Jace thread that will be FAAAAR more compelling.

As long as you're owning the libs I'm in.

CBM?

also not to feed the troll, but how is Rian Johnson involved in this?

Guilty for being another "SJW"  movie director hired by Disney brazen enough to express their opinions on twitter.

And for being a rally point for dipshit troll comments giving more fuel to the fire that SW fans/fans in general are prejudiced bigoted crybabies to the detriment of any fans who just have legitimate (or at least not motivated by bigotry) criticisms of Johnson and SW.

I'd hope in general most viewers don't care that much either way and it's another case of vocal minority gaining too much attention.

Getting away from this miserable topic for a moment: Sky Movies have just started showing Thor: Ragnarok endlessly - and, crikey, this is such a fun film! It made me think of some of my favourite Marvel Moments, because a few of them come from this film:

The Hulk's entrance, and Thor and Loki's reactions to him.

Hulk is very much a three year old child with a colossal temper and insane strength - and that is portrayed very well here.

The scene that follows Hela's: "What are you the God of again, brother?"  The music, Loki's little smile, Thor's entrance: all completely epic.

Thor's entrance in Infinity War is also brilliant, as is Cap's.  And for some reason T'Challa's "Get this man a shield" is one of my favourite Moments too.

Anything involving Aunt May from Spider Man.

Rocket and Yondu trying to persuade baby-Groot to get Yondu's spare fin.

What are some your favourite Marvel Moments?

Yeah? You think a douche bag like Cernovich calling people pedophiles on Twitter is funny? How else do you amuse yourself? Sniffing glue and hurling your feces at people?

To be honest it really does amuse me. Cernovich simply retweeted what Gunn posted and that was enough to destroy him. Cernovich has not accused him of anything beyond the tweets.

I have nothing against Gunn, I love his Guardians movies. But right now Cernovich is playing a beautiful game. Gunn just happened to be the ball and Cernovich has hit a home run.

I did really love Ultron's 'I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan' then just blasts Tony.

Pretty much everything Klaue did.

There's a bit in the first one on one fight Bucky and Cap have, where he throws his knife from one hand to the other. It only lasts a second but it was awesome.

And speaking of Winter Soldier Cap, just tearing through that office block, after Nick got shot.

Yondu's eulogy and then funeral was really touching. Here's a nice video about GotG2, if you're interested.

Gotta throw in the moment when Iron Man established his cred as a badass, or at least the suit is badass. The mic drop moment he blew up the tank with is tank buster mini-missile. Shoot, turn around, walk away. The MCU probably wouldn't exist without the Iron Man movie being a big success, and that segment was one of the best in the movie.

Of course he didn't accuse Gunn.  He might be a fucking idiot but he's not that stupid at least.

And some, "home run". Yeah.  Only it seems that the after effect of the firing has been a massive outpouring of support from the talent and the fan community in favor of Gunn.

Mr. Gunn will take some time off until this blows over and then he's be back to thrilling audiences with cinematic spectacle.  In the meantime, I don't imagine he'll have any trouble keeping the pool heated, what with that mattress stuffed with Guardians cash he sleeps on.

Cernovich on the other hand?  Sadly, there's no cure for being a twat.

The "beautiful game" in this case referring to being a vindictive, petulant, ridiculous toxicity with no capacity for rational argument to back up his point of view, resorting to deliberate and concocted character assassination instead?  It's a stupid stupid "game" that poisons whatever we're calling political debate these days.

I love the smaller Marvel Moments too:

When Tony sees Pepper suffering from Extremis - the look on his face is heartbreaking.

Peter panicking like the child he is under the rubble, and the "I don't want to go" in Infinity War - Peter is just so young.

Rocket breaking down, finding Groot's twigs, before they confront Ronan ... :crying:

Cap calling Tony Earth's greatest Avenger and Tony carrying CAp's flip phone in Infinity War.

Strange trying to make Wong laugh in Doctor Strange.

I hope Okoye gets her Starbucks.

I really loved in Infinity War when Tony goes supersayan on Thanos, giving him a tiny scratch. Thanos saying "All that for a single drop of blood." Was one of the only times I have actually 'feared' a comic book villain. Tied into that is when Thanos tells Tony "You're a great hero, I hope humanity remembers you." Just a fucking great movie!

Tony's "I am Iron Man." Is classic.

I loved Black Widow VS Hawkeye in Avengers, one of my favorite fight scenes because of how it frames the rest of the film.

I hated Iron Man 2, but the Stark Expose was pretty dope.

This, I think, was a game-changer in superhero movies.  Tony Stark is very different from other superheroes - he owns the entire persona of Iron Man, and wants everyone to know it.  Plus, it made you really want to see the next film!
