Consigliere
Another injury for Spurs. Wonder how Poch is going to tweak things at halftime because Spurs were looking ragged towards the end there and it seemed only a matter of time before City score again. Heartofice
The pace in the City Spurs game is just mental. It's been incredible to watch. But Rose and Trippier are getting ruined by City. Spurs won't last another half if this continues.
A Horse Named Stranger
Aguerro and City is in front now.
Consigliere
That was coming. Alli, unsurprisingly, is struggling defensively and KdB is regularly finding plenty of space between Spurs' midfield and defence.
A Horse Named Stranger
Just now, Soylent Brown said: Wijnaldum is fine as a back-up for Fabinho's role, and for sub appearances in games that we're winning and looking to control That was probably the whole idea. You went into this game with a solid 2-0 lead. There are no extra points for winning the second leg of the quarter final with a 3 goal margin, or coming out on top of a shoot out contest. The gameplan was, control the game, score an away goal if possible, advance to the next round in a professional manner, focus onthe next game. And it's 2-0 now. Iskaral Pust
Milner and Gini haven't been playing well lately but this was the perfect game to use their legs and allow others to rest. I'm just hoping Fabinho is feeling no fatigue from all these games because he didn't play all that many earlier in the season. With Fabinho and Keita (recently) looking settled in the team and Ox returning, we have a large pool of MFs for rotation. It's noticeable that we have far fewer injury absences for muscle strains this season compared to recent years.

Consigliere
Fucking incredible. Spurs will just not lay down. ETA. correct call to award the goal.
ljkeane
Yeah, it does brush his arm slightly but I think Llorente's trying to pull his arm away rather than deliberately handling it.
Philokles
Not even sure it hit his arm. Peter Walton on BT saying it hit his knee - could do with some anatomy lessons.

Mark Antony
VAR>>>>>> might be petty but fewer things in football make me happier than seeing Pep fail in Europe. Can’t win it without Messi
Consigliere
Brilliant game. Brilliant result for Spurs. City's constant failure in the CL is just as amusing as PSG's.
Mexal
Away goals rule blows in the modern game. It's not really hard to travel anymore.
ljkeane
Ha, the quadrouple dream is over. City were the better side by miles but they shot themselves in the foot with all the soft away goals conceded. Hopefully City lose their heads over this in the next few league games.
