IheartTesla
Florida has actually reported a quarter of its votes and Obama leads by 90k. These are mainly democratic leaning though, so we'll still have a close race.

Horus Ex Machina
Florida has actually reported a quarter of its votes and Obama leads by 90k. These are mainly democratic leaning though, so we'll still have a close race.Obama seems to be holding his numbers in those areas though. What will be interesting is how much Romney is outperforming McCain in the more rural areas. An example is Duvall county which McCain carried with 51% and Bush carried by much more in the two previous elections. Romney's performing about as will as McCain there which doesn't say much but it shows that Florida will be close. Alot of the indicators look similar to 2008 in the battlegrounds, but then again, they were all close elections statewide. Turnout could mean more than percentages. Sci-2
Sam Wang wants people to calm down:7:40 pm. OK, guys – listen…Exit polls don’t tell you anything – they can be off, and get adjusted later to match actual returns. They are a research tool for the media to construct stories. Also, large states like VA – these are too large to give accurate results in the early evening. Watch NH. DaveRoid
As you were. Still nothing really reporting in in significant numbers yet though.I am cautious but so far it is GREAT. most important point so far is that the polls are not proving to be bunk as some repugs suggested and close to the turnout so far. Datepalm
South Carolina called for Romney on BBC, but technically still Obama in terms of votes counted - excellent moment of awkwardness from BBC presenter given these two facts with no context.
