3) I can't believe we went the whole episode without seeing one of the most popular characters on the show - Michonne's sword. It wasn't in the bag of weapons they retrieved, right? Did it get left back in Terminus? Is it gone for good?

My guess is it will turn up when next our merry band of travellers meets up with Garreth. Micchonne cannot be wandering around the whole season with 2 bits of sharpened wood duct taped to either end of her sword scabbard. And how is it she has the scabbard and not the sword?

As to the "cure". It will effectively be a cure even if it only kills the zombies but does not "cure" the living. The population of the world(?) is probably 1/10th of what it was, which means the zombie hoard will never again build up to large numbers. And everyone now knows (or will know) how this affliction works and will ensure the dead stay dead and the bitten get properly dead. It's like many new diseases, you may not be able to eradicate it, but you can manage it once the epidemic stage has been dealt with.

I wonder who is in the deadpool this season. I'm picking the ginger merc dude is going to be offed at some point or maybe the merc woman. I don't see Maggie and Glenn having a happy ending, so I'm picking Maggie gets offed some time in the 2nd half of the season. I think Glenn has plot armour, because racial diversity in the show. But maybe if another east Asian character turns up Glenn might lose his plot armour. Carol is redeemed now, which puts her in danger of a hero's death. I don't see Tyreese being offed any time soon, but Sasha isn't safe IMO.

The pace was just fast enough, drama was just

I just want to say that scientist guy still looks like he's lying his ass off there. His half vague answers are not convincing me at all. so you have this great idea to turn the virus from attacking living to attacking living dead..cool...so that still doesn't explain how and why it's only YOU who could do it...there's no more smart people left anywhere?

It goes beyond him just being smart, though - and even beyond him being a biologist. He said he was part of a government task force specialising in biological warfare. So he was part of a group that was the creme de la creme - the very best working at the cutting edge in the field. The implication being it's beyond anything any mere biologist could produce. He was one of half a dozen or so that would be capable of producing the virus and the rest are all dead.

Not terribly believable, I guess, but I give it a pass.

My concern would be he needs to be extremely careful that his virus targets only the actual dead and not those with the Z virus. We know everyone is infected, after all. Does he? (He probably should)

Oh - and re the Morgan scene. It was about 5 seconds post credits - Marvel style. So if you didn't stick around until after the credits, or your recording cut off before, you would have missed it.

I believed Eugene from the very start. It never even occurred to me that he could be lying. Only when I read comments on the forum here did I start realizing the degree of prejudice there exists against people...of Eugene's social and cultural background.

Meaning so called "rednecks".

What stops a mulletheaded native of the deep south from being born with an Einstein level intelligence, compared to some toffee nosed north easterner with sophisticated social mannerisms?

The answer is, absolutely nothing.

I always believed him too, I found it weird that this science type person was such a redneck but for some reason I never questioned whether or not he was telling the truth. It's such a weird plot contrivance that it would seem strange for him to be lying at the end of it.

but then again, this show does a lot of things that don't make any sense at all.

I'm not from America so to me all this redneck/mullet/IQ stuff is just words you guys throw around...I don't trust the guy because I think he's full of shit. He may have had some insight in all thing before of maybe he just watched a lot of tv shows and red a lot of books about it. But now in this situation I think he can do absolutely nothing. Why is he saying he can then? Why wouldn't he when he's getting two soldgers watching over him and keeping him alive, and all he has to say is it's classified from time to time...really dude. not buying it. And his explanation the other night was meh at best with too many holes to just take it as whole truth. He has to give me more than this. It's been three years since zapocalypse more or less, where has he been all this time? If he had those two to protect him is it really that hard to get to DC? Maybe it is...ok but...we've seen Atlanta and I don't think DC looks much better and he's saying just get me there and I'll magically produce the cure...out of what? Your ass? There should be some materials some lab something to make the cure with...talking about how you can do it won't mean much. And when you make it,what then? You're going to cure/kill one zombie at a time? Or you're going to go hunt down all human groups including homicidal rapers to give them vaccine? They'll probably rape you and shoot you and maybe not even in that order before you even say vaccine. I don't think he's stupid at all I think he's very cleaver and that's why he pulled this fraud of his off. I think he maybe has some small thing but he's selling it like the biggest thing ever.

There were multiple interruptions during TWD around the Tears' household, so I missed something.

Did Carol just start blasting the place because of "possible threat," or did she actually know our heroes were being kept in cattle cars and needed rescuing?

She witnessed Rick and company being strapped and taken outside the boxcar.

The reason I don't believe him is because he keeps saying "it's classified". I mean, the world is ending, civilisation as we know it has collapsed, we're back to caveman lifestyle, you're seriously going to spew "it's classified"?

Plus, where has he been all this time?

Though I will admit, the mullet doesn't help. I had a red mohawk and no one took me seriously and I didn't expect anyone to. And yes, I see the problem with that--the content of my head and not what's on top of it should be the thing that matters.

The thing with Eugene is that someone who acts like this when a zombie comes near him more than a year after the zombie apocalypse began would probably also be the type desperate to do or say anything to get people to protect him.

As for his haircut, I don't think anyone is arguing that just because someone has a mullet automatically means they're not smart. Just that being smart generally leans toward one deciding not to have a mullet.
