Paxter
Yeah probably not the best time of year to be scheduling a test series in Bangladesh... So Rogers possibly out of the third test. That could give England (some) hope, he as been the dominant batsman in this series so far. Marsh is a very able replacement, but I'd fancy England's chances of nipping him early if they can bowl in the right areas.
Jeor
Yes, Marsh is a stylish player but not especially solid. While there are exceptions, my theory is that English conditions tend to favour the stodgy batsmen rather than the flamboyant.
Consigliere
RIP Ricey. Without a doubt amongst the greatest allrounders SA has ever produced.
ljkeane
So Wood's dropped out and Finn's in for England. Wood looks like a really good bowler but it seems like England are going to have to really manage his work load.

ljkeane
A lot better so far. Finn gets Smith.

ljkeane
Finn's actually getting his pace up a bit here. If he can sustain it in the high eighties he's a far better bowler.
Xray the Enforcer
Warner's been to the Goober School of LBW Reviews. Mr. X discovered that we can watch the Ashes on ESPN3. Hooray!
Xray the Enforcer
34-3 now. Nice bit of bowling from Finn.

ljkeane
5 down now. The first decent looking wicket of the series and England's bowlers look miles better.
Hereward
Excellent momentum from Cardiff. Shame there's no Lords Test this year, though.
ljkeane
50 for Rogers. That's quietly a really good effort. He's had a few difficulties and England are bowling really well but he's stuck in there.
Consigliere
Holy crap. I go into a meeting with Australia three down. Come out and it's seven down.
The Winged Shadow
England comfortable on top. Great bowling by Anderson, just spot on over after over. This game is already looking more interesting, thanks to no 400+ 1st innings scores. Australia needs to bowl really well if they want to save this test! Arataniello
Well. Edgbaston once again providing an entertaining test. Getting a _little_ tired of TMS constantly harping on about the 2005 test at the same ground. England doing well so far, but they still have to bat on this surface, so no counting of chickens yet. ljkeane
Bloody hell Lyth. He's clearly reined himself in a bit today in response to the way he's struggled, then he manages to get to double figures and flashes at a wide one. Not a good sign.
