Which of the Nine regions of Westeros would you want to live in?

Between the Iron Islands, the Reach, the North, the Vale, the Riverlands, the Vale, the Stormlands, the Westerlands, and the Crownlands, where would you want to live if you were:

1) The Lord Paramount of your region (the Crownlands is an invalid answer for this part)

2) The second most powerful lord of that region

3) A knight serving the Great House of the region (Again, Crownlands isn't an option for this one)

4) A middle-class merchant

5) A peasant

Because I'll be in Winterfell during winter hopefully and it is kinda worm there I think they say

That, or Barrowton. Or you might not make it there in time and freeze to death. No telling what will happen to you.

The Vale would seem a valid option as well given how well they've avoided the war.

You still have the mountain clans to deal with.

Well they're also as good as a moat to anyone coming or going into your land without leave, so there's some good to be had there and regardless, their harassment is a small price to pay for comparative security in the worn torn Seven Kingdoms.

  1. Reach, with space for growing strong without having to cut down the neighbours.
  2. Dorne: better not to have too much responsabilities there, and time to enjoy life.
  3. Dorne, same reason.
  4. Crownlands. A merchant needs markets, and the number of ports near King's Landing is unparalled. Also, it has to be in the Narrow Sea to tap into the real flow of goods.
  5. Reach. Being a farmer is already difficult without having to survive four years long unforseeable winters in the North, thanks. And at least here the soil is good, the land rich, the mountain clans thusands of miles away and the dornish, friends.
