Pilusmagnus
That is probably the video I waited for the most in my entire life. What did you think? Clearly Tolkien whipped his ass.

Richard Writhen
Very funny. "You even stole my double Rs" "I was talking to CS Lewis and we agree like Jon Snow you know nothing"

AndrewJ says forum is doing that screwing up of quoting thing where you can't delete the last thing quoted. (Which I only did to copy the video link.) And I can't even type anywhere other than in the quote box.

Veltigar
I thought Martin rapped better (especially that line starting from 01:38). Tolkien won though, lyrically he was the best. Best putdowns and jokes.
Astromech
Tolkien clearly won. The Vader v. Hitler ERBs are still the best.

Corvinus85
I thought they were pretty even. GRRM started strong and had the better rap rhythm, Tolkien had the better lines. Watched a bunch more. I loved Zeus v. Thor with LEGOs.
polishgenius
The best one is Jim Henson vs Stan Lee coz of the ending, but there's been a bunch of good ones. Moses vs Santa, for example.
The Drunkard
I like the Goku vs Superman one just for the harshness of a few lines, and the Rasputin vs Stalin one for the surprise appearances. Tolkien destroyed in this.

He called out everything that has bothered me - the RR, the lack of backstory, etc. Better be careful, I guess. I don't want to be flamed.
Raksha 2014
Tolkien won! It was a very cute video; cleverly written and well delivered by the participants.

My pedantic nature compels me to point out that RR genuinely are Martin's middle initials ( Raymond Richard, according to Wikipedia). But Tolkien was the clear winner of the ERB. Maleficent vs Dany anyone?
