Tears of Lys
Had the most delicious Sangria I've ever tasted in my life at a Cuban restaurant in downtown Detroit over the weekend. They went down so smoothly, you never realized what a punch they packed until it was too late. Open bars are dangerous things.
l2 0 5 5
When it comes to wine, I prefer a box of Franzia. Not the highest quality of stuff, but it's cheap, and if you're drinking it by yourself, it'll last you all weekend. The wine hangover is quite the devil, though. Larry of the Lawn
For cheap wine I like Carlo Rossi Paisano. Boxed is good too for festivals and camping but I can't say I have a preference or discerning taste in that arena.

Nox Irradiata
I love Chick-Fil-A. Unfortunately, we don't have any in Hawaii. Used to go there all the time when I lived in North Carolina, though. Loved the lemonade too.

By the time I get to glass four (a real glass -- not a wine glass that fancy people use) I'm feeling quite loose.

Larry of the Lawn
How does the Sculpin compare to their Big Eye? They have it in cans or bottles near me in mass quantities all of a sudden.
kairparavel
I've only had the Sculpin (and the super delicious Victory at Sea Double Porter) and it was a mistake to have it after the Stone Ruinten. It's too delicate a brew for after something as aggressive as the Ruinten. But it was nice? I will need to try it again unfettered by the tastes of other beers. Larry of the Lawn
Yeah, most Stone's need to wait till the end of the line.
all swedes are racist
I haven't had the Big Eye, but I will say I really enjoy the Sculpin. Quite nice.
Nox Irradiata
Are any of you alcoholics connoisseurs familiar with Death's Door white whiskey? Thoughts?
Spring Bass
Had a gin martini today for the first time in several years. Hoo boy - good stuff, but my head was swimming after that (helped that it was a big one). My alcohol tolerance is pretty low after years of only drinking beer.
