But why does it have even have to be an American? Can't we take a disgraced, but prominent European coach like Louis van Gaal or Sam Allardyce? An American is the last one coaching that team. I'd take Big Sam over Arena.

That would be perfect. But this is Trump's America now. No way they're hiring a nonwhite foreigner.
Rorshach
Well, Tony Pulis is currently flying (relatively) high in the PL with WBA, and they do score goals. Hire him. Do it now!

Consigliere
The Monaco/Spurs game is quite lively and should be 1-1. Son fluffs a one-on-one and Falcao missed a penalty.
Philokles
7 goals in 21 minutes in BVB vs Legia. On the back of the visitors 3-3 against Real. Remind me to watch more Polish football.
polishgenius
6-3 in the Dortmund game now.
Consigliere
Surprisingly, Spurs are looking very shaky in defense. Looks like it will be EL football next year or even no European football at all if their poor form continues against CSKA.
Philokles
8-4 full time. Most goals ever in a Champions League game.

Lord of Oop North
Toronto and Montreal for the MLS Conference Finals! Huge, huge day for football in this country! Sold out Olympic Stadium. Not sure on official attendance as of yet, but could easily be 60,000 people. In Canada. To watch local football! Amazing!

That managed to change the whole tempo and saved them.
Consigliere
Arsenal quite fortunate to be going in at 1-1. PSG were well in control of the game until Krychowiak lunges in recklessly and gives away a penalty - not too sure if he actually made contact on Sanchez though. ETA. saw a replay and he did make slight contact with Sanchez' right foot so a penalty was the correct call.
A Horse Named Stranger
I bet Guardiola won't be happy with Fernandinho. Pretty stupid to collect the second yellow card there. And he was begging for it almost the entire game.
Consigliere
Looks like Cavani's poor finishing is going to cost PSG again. Could have had a hat-trick in both games against Arsenal.
Lord Friendzone
Cavani is a master in waisting chances. I remember his game against Metz this season. Well, Arsenal can expect Barcelona or some other tought teams with their luck. It seems only Man City can compete truly for Champions League if they play like against Barcelona. Especially the second half was good.

Raja
Glad we didn't buy Cavani - not that we were ever seriously in for him, but *many* afc fans would have taken him ( then again, they would probably have taken any striker this summer)
