Consigliere
   ETA. Guardiola says it is unlikely that Aguero will be fit for the 2nd leg against Real Madrid.  Also a report in The Times that EPL clubs are aiming to have fans back in stadiums next season with grounds between 30% and 50% full. It's behind a paywall so to summarise: - Supporters would have to wear face masks - Grounds to open 3 hours before kick-off - September 12 is the most likely date for the start of next season - Return of fans would be implemented for every EPL and EFL club - 50% is ambitious but the difference between 30% and 50% could be the difference between a club breaking even or making a loss. - Ministers are supportive and would like as many as possible to be allowed into stadiums so long as social distancing can be maintained. - There are some issues to iron out, one of which involves season ticket holders. Still needs to be determined how to decide on who attends games. Under social-distancing rules, people from the same household can sit next to each other but organisers want to be sure that the seats are occupied by the ticket holder rather than a friend to whom the ticket had been passed. A Horse Named Stranger
Going back to the Sancho to United stuff. Last thing I heard/read was, that United is not favorite destination, especially if United were to miss out on CL football. In other words, if United fail to qualify for the Champions League, there'd be a good chance that Sancho says no.
Consigliere
Romano reported several times in the last few weeks (most recently yesterday where he contradicts the claim made by Bild) that his sources tell him that Sancho remains more than happy to accept United's offer. Reiterated that the most difficult part about this transfer is going to be negotiations with Dortmund. They do not want to sell at a reduced price and due to the losses as a result of the pandemic, United might not be able to meet the asking price.  2 hours ago, Raja said:  This guy and Pep seemed very confident. It's possible the verdict has been privately communicated to the club. Reportedly, it was originally expected that the CAS would announce a verdict today but apparently UEFA asked for it to be pushed back to 13 July to avoid clashing with the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
A Horse Named Stranger
Saw it on the kicker hp (I think) and only skimmed thru it. No idea, if they just copied that story from bild about Sancho wanting CL football and United not being that high on his list of clubs. In other news. Havertz rumoredly really wants to leave Leverkusen now. The cup final against Bayern was apparently a bit of a wake up call/slap in the face, and the gulf between Leverkusen and Bayern was just too much, that and Leverkusen missing out on the CL spots. Bayern don't have the cash for that move now. So he has warmed up towards the pospect of moving to Chelsky (again, just a rumour thus far). Leverkusen on their end have lowered their asking price; so they rumoredly only want a mere 90m € instead of 100m € for him. Also from the rumour mill. Thiago and LIverpool have reached an agreement, now it's down to Liverpool having to reach a deal with Bayern. Again, that doesn't strike as terribly likely, but who knows. BigFatCoward
Jack Charlton has died, I'll choose to remember him as a world cup winner and for his time as RoI manager. Rather than the shitshow when he was Newcastle manager.

ljkeane
A couple of big results for the relegation battle with the early games. Norwich relegated and I can't see either of Villa or Bournemouth getting to 34 points so that more than likely them gone too.
