I think the only way we have any chance of improving the situation is if we strap every single PL referee to a rocket and fire it into the Sun, and start again.

Isn't that how superman 3 created an even worse problem? Or was it 4? I cant remember, one of the shit ones.

Pretty sure it was 4. 3 was the substance abuse superman one with Richard Pryor.

To be fair, they're playing Luton

Yeah, but playing rubbish teams didn’t stop them from looking like a rubbish, incoherent mess last year though.

They haven’t been especially brilliant or anything tonight but they look like they know what they’re supposed to be doing and are buying into it. They’ve got enough good players there that if they can put a sensible team framework around them they should be half decent at least.

Sort of like someone shooting themselves in the foot and thinking "well, the solution to this would be to shoot the other foot too".

But too many bullshitters have been successful lately, and people like Trump are showing the way to act for people with no morals and enormous egos. Fuck those guys.

It’s clearly wrong and he’s already issued an apology for it, but demanding the guy should be fired over the sole offence of a kiss is a bit extreme no ? It’s more like he got caught up in the heat of the moment with their victory and might be a cultural factor also. Here in india we also handshake to congratulate athletes and rarely hug it out.

Dude he just did a whole press conference where he insisted he did nothing wrong and ranted about feminism ruining society.

In any case 'getting caught up in the heat of the moment' is not an excuse. If it's a 'cultural thing' that's even more reason for him to leave because 'culture' has clearly moved on from that being acceptable and if he can't move with it he's not suitable for the job.

Bear in mind too that Spain had 15 players on strike before the world cup for issues they had with the manager and international setup. So in that atmosphere it was even dumber to do.

In other depressing news, Sean Dyche's comments on our start leave me fearing he'll stick by Michael Keane, which would be depressingly stupid.

Sure, he has worked with him before, but Keane's career at Everton has been a collection of lowlights marred sometimes by an ok performance.
