Grand Moff Mithrandir
I'm glad that Madrid are through, but I do worry about who they'll have guarding their back four and sitting deep now that Alonso is out. This Casemiro fellow doesn't seem to have Ancelloti's confidence.
baxus
I can't remember last time I saw a team get spanked in Champions' League semifinal match as Bayern was last night. The best part of it was half-time statistics that said Bayern had 63% possession :lmao:And Bayern fans thinking Bundesliga title, German cup final (at least, that trophy is still up for grabs) and Champions' League semifinal to be a failed season :bang: make it all the more easy to enjoy their current distress
MercenaryChef
Why do my feel sick at the thought of Chelsea lifting the Champions League trophy again? An all Madrid final would be romantic (Football needs romance as we all know.)
Gears of the Beast
If Chelsea win tomorrow it will be a terrible day for football because we will be guaranteed a terrible champion's league final. To me the champion's league final is the pinnacle of football competition and entertainment and to see Mourinho shit all over it (again) would just be depressing. mormont
No matter who wins tonight, the final will be between two counterattacking teams. Games like that can be turgid and dull, but they can also be exciting - it depends whether there's an early goal, and on the specific tactical instructions. I think an Atletico - Real final is more likely to be exciting simply because the players will be much more fired up, but it could still be rather frustrating to watch, two teams defending in numbers, each trying to tempt the other to come forward. We'll see.

We'll see. It'll be significantly worse with Chelsea. I'm really hoping for an Atletico/Real final. I want Chelsea to win nothing this season. Grand Moff Mithrandir
Ooh Chelsea hate, I'm in!I agree a final with Chelsea in it will be terribly dull. I don't want to watch a match where one team will be trying their utmost to kill the momentum of the game. Also, I just don't like Mourinho..so yeah. Castel
I want Chelsea to win nothing this season. The feeling is mutual. Though one of us has gotten more satisfaction on this score than the other I suppose. As for a Chelsea final: I'm kinda sad that we got Atletico cause I don't want Real to win but there's nothing more glorious than seeing Chelsea hate ramp up with every tier we rise. Mexal
The feeling is mutual. Though one of us has gotten more satisfaction on this score than the other I suppose. Not sure either of us has gotten any satisfaction yet. Arsenal are in FA Cup finals and Chelsea are at home in the 2nd leg of a tie that they can win in the Semis of CL. We might both be disappointed and yet very happy at the same time.

Consigliere
Hope Atletico can go all the way. Who doesn't like a good underdog story? Apart from Real and Chelsea supporters, of course. ;)
baxus
I wouldn't want to see a boring match in the finals.Other than that, I don't care who wins. When Liverpool gets in this stage of Champions' League again, then I'll care.
Mark Antony
Don't want Chelsea to win but Mourinho vs his previous club in the final after all the drama and such there would be kinda intriguing. Go Atletico though! :)
Winterfell is Burning
I hope Atletico qualifies, imagine them winning La Liga and the CL in the same week, while less than a year ago they didn't even managed to beat Madrid in the XXI Century? What a story!
