Consigliere
Saka starts. Looks like Grealish is going to play at CAM with Sterling left, Saka right and Kane up top. Surprised that Foden didn't even make the matchday squad.

Southgate did the same thing with leaving out Sancho from the first match. It’s weird, you’re definitely not going to need three centre backs and two right backs on the bench but attacking players who can change a game are always a useful option. BigFatCoward
After their respective seasons I have no idea how Sterling is considered a better option than Sancho. Well fuck.

Soylent Brown
Haha, a Sterling header. They'll be wanking themselves silly over Grealish in the press, but most of that was Saka.

Consigliere
Saka has made a good start. As a whole, England looking much better - more intensity and are moving the ball quicker.

A Horse Named Stranger
Oh, c'mon Scotland. Mel Gibson died for you in the year of '95, so you can qualify as an independent nation for the k.o. stage. Don'T let Mel Gibson down.

Maguire's an excellent passer on normal days to be fair. That he's better at progressing the ball than Declan Rice is one reason I'm baffled why so many of our fans insist Rice is the solution to our midfield problems. john
Fucking hell, that goal couldn’t have come at a better time. Scotland were getting run a bit ragged just before. Not sure why anybody’s watching this meaningless England game.
