Mr. Chatywin et al.
Just kick up your feet and laugh: Quote A New York judge has found Donald Trump and his adult sons liable for fraud, saying the Trumps provided false financial statements for roughly a decade. Judge Arthur Engoron’s ruling came days before the civil case involving the New York attorney general’s office and the former president was set to go to trial. Engoron granted Attorney General Letitia James’ motion for summary judgment, finding Trump, his sons, and others “to be liable as a matter of law for persistent violations” of New York state law. He found the financial statements the Trumps provided to lenders and insurers for about a decade to be false and said they repeatedly engaged in fraud. The decision is a blow to Trump and a complete rejection of his arguments that he didn’t inflate the values of his golf courses, hotels, homes at Mar-a-Lago and Seven Springs on financial statements that were repeatedly used in business. The attorney general has sought $250 million in damages, a ban on the Trumps from serving as officers of a business in New York, and to stop the company from engaging in business transaction for five years. https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/26/politics/trump-organization-business-fraud/index.html JGP, DireWolfSpirit, Ser Scot A Ellison and 3 others 2 1

Zorral
Color us yet again Not Surprised -- there isn't a laptop even! Actually, this is quite amazing, in the sense that They got the disgusting media to lap it all up, over and over and over, and yet again! There is no laptop: Hunter Biden sues Rudy Giuliani This isn't the only site reporting on what wasn't there re Hunter, by any means. Nor is it the first time it is revealed these guys are so digitally illiterate they don't even know what devices are -- for years they refer to items such as external hard drives as laptops, for instance. I do believe I've commented on this before? https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/9/26/2195542/-There-is-no-laptop-Hunter-Biden-sues-Rudy-Giuliani Quote .... The basis of the lawsuit is the claim that Giuliani and Costello violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act by accessing the data stored on the external drive sent to them by Isaac. Hunter Biden specifically does not admit that all the data on the drive was ever in his possession, or that Isaac was ever actually in possession of a laptop that Biden had owned. .... Data, which then was manipulated, tampered with, altered, etc. Giuliani, the grifter gift that just keeps giving.
Zorral
Quote .... Sen. Richard J. Durbin (Ill.), the second-highest-ranking Democrat in the Senate, on Wednesday called on Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) to resign — joining with a majority of Senate Democrats who have now urged their colleague to step down in the wake of a federal indictment on bribery charges. “Leaders in New Jersey, including the Governor and my Senate colleague Cory Booker, have made it clear that Sen. Menendez can no longer serve. He should step down,” Durbin, the Senate majority whip, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) so far has stood by Menendez. He has called Menendez “a dedicated public servant” and said he has the right to due process in the criminal justice system. .... https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/09/27/menendez-resign-durbin-schumer/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quote FEMA delays $2.8 billion in disaster aid to keep from running out of money The agency has paused aid for long-term disaster recovery in nearly every U.S. state and territory while scrambling to conserve cash in case a government shutdown collides with hurricane season https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2023/09/27/government-shutdown-fema-disaster-aid-delays/ We all know by now, too, that this gummit shutdown will impact funding to fight wildfires as the peak of the wildfire seasons hits? Argonath Diver
You know what other leader thought they could get away with a life of blatant, public crime? Cersei. Imagine Trump being herded down 5th avenue, the very avenue he told the country he could commit murder on and not be punished. No bronzing makeup, hair shaved and white, pelted by tomatoes and lettuce heads. No rocks or damaging objects of course - surely Manhattan is more civilized than King's Landing. Shame. Shame. Shame.
