But previous Tory PMs seem to indicate above average intellect isn't really a requisite for being Tory leader. It is interesting, that those who support the continued white-washing of history call it "political" race theory rather than critical race theory. There might have been a point where she was his barking dog and he could use her to say all the stupidest things and he could take a step back, but it's mostly just splashing back on him and making him look a lot worse. If he fires her now, the Tory right are going to go apeshit about 'caving in to the woke mob'. And he's not going to do a reshuffle over the same weekend events everyone is making a fuss about. Plus, he doesn't have the guts to fire her now in case the government win on the Rwanda verdict. The right wing backlash would double. If they do win, she's unsackable.
