Dr. Pepper
Oh my, indeed. Spoilered because I really don't know what the real airtime is supposed to be so just in case it's not supposed to be Friday night.... Jamie's face when we leave him has left me feeling a bit haunted. I actually had to cover my eyes and peek through my fingers when the camera focused on his face. It was painful to look upon and I very nearly threw up.

Pliskin
I read some really panicked comments and warnings on the web about this episode, from book readers.Well, to be honest, I wasn't that traumatized after all.I guess it's because I knew that I'd be watching something awful, or that they toned down the book. wolfmaid7
to quote BJR " he hasn't begun." Next episode i expect the more graphic stuff to appear. But dang props to Tobias and Sam for what we saw and will see.It is hard not to hate the character of BJR.Dude makes Ramsey look freaking tame and he's so proper in the s**t geeze. Its one thing reading it,but oh gosh BJR makes you want to bathe your eyes and brain in soap.
Zorral
To be honest, I skimmed and skipped a great deal of what these two episodes are based on -- too awful. I don't think I can watch these episodes. Especially as got has turned these sorts of horrors into torture porn, which a significant subset of viewers seem to wallow in (which, to be honest again, I don't think the author of this novel did), and that is so ugly I quit watching got all together, among other reasons too, of course. But a big reason was this and the viewers who think this is so cool and honest. For anyone who has had to deal with the consequences of a family member or some other person with whom they are close, from being kidnapped. held prisoner, tortured and raped, this is very likely all too much. The Mother of The Others
yuk. They may have a 500% drop in ratings next week. If that's possible. They could get beat by CNN, which reportedly has an average of 15 viewers but can boast as many as 35 upon occasion. Was that the finale? No?!?!? Uhhhh, how soon is the summer break? Is it soon? The King in Black
Was at a friend's place who loves this show, and this is the first episode I've seen. All I'll say is the actor who plays Randall did one hell of a job - I don't know the head or tale of it, and I already want Randall dead.
MoIaF
Finally! I've caught up on the last two episodes. The Search was probably the worst episode so far. The first 40 minutes most lydragged on except for a few scenes here and there, it only picked up towards the end when we encounter Dugal. Now Wenwroth Prison was a very good episode but an absolutely brutal episode. Of course I had decided to catch up on Outlander right before I watch this week's episode of GoT, so I had a rough night yesterday. The acting was all around great, Sam and Tobias have great chemistry (of hero and antagonist) and their scenes together are so intense. I was just completely mortified of what was happening the last 20 minutes of the show and I'm really scared of what's going to happen next week. BJR can't fie soon enough. To me BJR is a more menacing antagonist than Ramsay, there is a realness to his depravity that Ramsay does not have. I think it's saturday evening like Jack said ;) I usually watch it on sundays though, because of reasons I shall not bother y'all with ;) That's how I watch it. :P
Mladen
After one traumatic experience (or to be completely honest, before), to another. In 2am last night I went first with Outlander, only to continue with that show in 3am. In many ways, those scenes were absolutely beautifully acted. It was so captivating that I couldn't have moved my eyes. I liked this very much. I mean in terms of how it is done. At moments, it have been a bit too much, but overall, I was OK with it. The acting was all around great, Sam and Tobias have great chemistry... I stopped reading after this :) But, make no mistake, you are completely right. yuk. Was that the finale? No?!?!? Uhhhh, how soon is the summer break? Is it soon? Who would tell I am more resilient than you... :) I am the one supposed that is easily horrified by the world's perversions... BTW, TMotO, I have some more update on the show we talked about. Believe it or not, I was so sad they cancelled it :)

Corvinus85
I started watching this last night on Amazon, just to see what all the fuss was about. I thought about reading the book first, but I didn't feel like reading another 1st person narrative. Anyway, to my surprise, it hooked me right away, so I had to get the entire first half of the season on Amazon.
Veltigar
Now that I'm here I realise that I haven't given my opinion on the penultimate episode yet. All in all, it was rather forgetful imo. Some excellent performances and a couple of great visuals, but there were a couple of things that were just to convenient and broke the episode's spell a bit to much for my liking. Looks like they are skipping a week and the finale is 5/30 instead of this Saturday.Oh bummer, I hate these breaks. I was really looking forward to some resolution here.
