You really got a sense that Stannis had nothing else to live for. Brienne’s lifelong mission had come to an end. It’s a situation in which Stannis was ready to die and prepared to die." :bang: David Nutter is a fucking hack. This is the man who botched up the RW, the Mhysa scene and now all those other great moments. Seriously fuck him. EDIT: I know we are always justified when we hate the writing on this poor excuse of a TV-sho, but we really should throw more contempt at some of these directors. That was stupid. So they can show countless breasts, violence towards kids, the weakness of motherhood, but they have to give Stannis some dignity. Right. I talk to so many show!watchers who don't think at all about any of this stuff. They just want to see cool things and dragons.And that is bs too, they didn't give him any dignity at all. They butchered the character, it was obvious from his first scene. Not entirely out of the realm of possibility that they did shoot it differently but weren't happy with the result and decided to change it in editing. It's not even kinky or anything odd. She's just there with some guy who came too fast, something that can happen to anyone who is relatively young. She doesn't go around dressed "like a whore" (so to speak) or saying "I want seeeex!!!" like a maniac. She's a normal twenty something girl who enjoys sex with sex is on the menu but have quite a busy life besides that. And the show turned her into "bad pussy lolita flasher". Yet, the one girl who is introduced by mentioning she was just involved in a threesome with two female twins has barely a participation. No mention of her sexual life. I seriously even lack the energy to rant on everything that was bad in this finale. The finale had the largest first time audience of any episode of GOT. More than the premier. So, 'bad pussy' is totally validated. Shock and awe is totally validated. All the horses are gone except the one Mel rode off on is validated. Nobody but us book nerds care about errors and inconsistencies and blatant stupidity of characters like Stannis, the great military commander planning to attack a moated castle in the day time. Bad pussy. Controversy. Action.
