Spockydog
Biggest game for years for us tonight. I'm not going to get much work done today.

mormont
Plays for Wrexham. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Jones_(footballer,_born_1984) So presumably his locker is in Wales.

Spockydog
Just now, BigFatCoward said: There is a huge police presence for this. I remember the time you won the title at WHL, atmosphere was horrible afterwards. I was there. It was wild. Inside and outside the stadium. Tonight, however, I shall be safely in my recliner, slippers on, with Maggie on my lap, and a heavily-packed bong on the side. I have to hand it to Arteta. He's made the football important again. I mean, it's always been important, but when you're in a deep decline, knocking around 8th and 9th, it's difficult to get excited about things. But that's all changed now. ljkeane
Well that’s a completely senseless couple of yellow cards for Holding.
Mark Antony
Not sure what the pen was for but ya dumb from Holding on the fouls
ljkeane
And that’s game over. 1 minute ago, Mark Antony said: Not sure what the pen was for He jumped into Son to prevent him getting a clean header. Defenders do it a lot but it is a foul. Can’t have too many complaints if you’re not subtle enough to get away with it.
Raja
Tierney couldn't wait to send holding off. If we're sending people off for those fouls, every game should have like 2-3 players off minimium. Tierney does this all season long though, so it's hardly a surprise.
Soylent Brown
It's a second yellow all day long. Don't be silly.
Raja
It really isn't. Like I said, if we're sending people off for those fouls then we should be losing 2-3 players on each side evey game.
Soylent Brown
You don't think ignoring the ball and deliberately putting your shoulder into the forward's face is a yellow? It's really not worth engaging with you during Arsenal matches then.
ljkeane
It really is. It was a cynical foul and he’s stuck his shoulder into Son’s face for good measure. That’s a yellow all day long.
polishgenius
This is almost as exciting as WagathaChristie.
Spockydog
That was just horrific. As for Holding, I'm with Blogs.
Spockydog
Lol at Tottenham twitter, who appear to be ignoring the fact that it is Arsenal who are currently in 4th.
Soylent Brown
The penalty is kind of soft, in that if Cedric times that better he'd get away with it, but I would love it if they had a crackdown on shoves and holding (no pun intended) during set-pieces and crosses. polishgenius
Yeah, the penalty's soft- though not invented- but Holding has no-one to blame but himself imo.
The Sunland Lord
Soft pen really, but the second yellow was 100% justified. Edit: 3-0. Very bad game from Arsenal. It can get worse, I think.
Raja
You can engage with what you like, that's up to you. I disagree. Son elbows holding in the face during their previous tussel but that gets nothing. Tierney couldn't wait to send him off, but some of that is on Holding for giving him those decisions to make. I agree with this Yellow? Red?
