Wage bill becoming under control has contributed and they clearly have the full backing of KSE. Most importantly, they are getting some major signings in early and before preseason with PL experience so integration should be fairly seamless. Think it’s timing on players too. Lots of teams won’t sell until they have a replacement or they can’t buy until they sell. Been an issue with Arsenal previously. Couldn’t afford who they wanted early so waited to sell some players or get a deal towards end of window. This summer they’ve just spent and are now looking to sell to recoup some of the investment. And Milner is 36 (or 37?) so there was no point in giving him a longer contract so the club could earn some money on his transfer. The only one who could bring in some money is Firmino, but given his form in last couple of seasons I'm not sure that would be much either. Robinson needs to learn not to lead with his hand when charging at players. He got away with one penalty not being called, didn't the second time.
