There were also the Mameluke encounters -- but whether these are part of it not, I don't think so -- it would complicate a movie history too much, for one thing! Also 1242 is too early probably for direct territorial and armed conflict between the two, which started to be rife by the 1260's. But if they wanted to make Hungary look good, they could do a time skip and show the second Mongol invasion in the mid 1280s which doesn't go well for them. Martell Spy
Fallout series first-look images reveal Power Armor and Walton Goggins' Ghoul The upcoming adaptation from Prime Video tackles many iconic elements of the beloved video game franchise. https://ew.com/fallout-first-look-images-power-armor-walton-goggins-ghoul-8407343 Quote Fallout stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) as Lucy, an optimistic Vault Dweller with an all-American can-do spirit, whose idealistic nature is tested when people harm her loved ones. Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) plays Hank, the Overseer of Vault 33 and Lucy’s father, who is eager to change the world for the better. Aaron Moten plays Maximus, a young soldier hiding his tragic past as he serves in a militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel. He believes in the nobility of the Brotherhood's mission to bring law and order to the Wasteland and will do anything to further their goals. Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones, Justified) stars as the Ghoul, a pragmatic and ruthless survivor who trawls the Wasteland as a bounty hunter. Irradiated Ghouls are one of the most recognizable elements of the Fallout franchise, and here, Goggins combines their iconic look with a Westworld-esque cowboy outfit. Martell Spy
Shogun: 14 Exclusive Character Posters from FX's Epic New Series This adaptation of James Clavell’s bestseller debuts February 27. https://www.ign.com/articles/shogun-fx-series-cast-characters-posters-plot Quote Shōgun is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. Producer Hiroyuki Sanada stars as “Lord Yoshii Toranaga” who is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him. When a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village, its English pilot, “John Blackthorne” (Cosmo Jarvis), comes bearing secrets that could help Toranaga tip the scales of power and devastate the formidable influence of Blackthorne’s own enemies — the Jesuit priests and Portuguese merchants. Toranaga’s and Blackthorne’s fates become inextricably tied to their translator, “Toda Mariko” (Anna Sawai), a mysterious Christian noblewoman and the last of a disgraced line. While serving her lord amidst this fraught political landscape, Mariko must reconcile her newfound companionship with Blackthorne, her commitment to the faith that saved her and her duty to her late father. The cast also includes Tadanobu Asano as “Kashigi Yabushige,” a notorious backstabber and close ally of Toranaga; Hiroto Kanai as “Kashigi Omi,” the young leader of the fishing village where Blackthorne’s ship was found; Takehiro Hira as “Ishido Kazunari,” a powerful bureaucrat who is Toranaga’s chief rival; Moeka Hoshi as “Usami Fuji,” a widow who must find new purpose amidst her lord’s fight; Tokuma Nishioka as “Toda Hiromatsu,” Toranaga’s trusted general and closest friend; Shinnosuke Abe as “Toda Hirokatsu” (“Buntaro”), Mariko’s jealous husband; Yuki Kura as “Yoshii Nagakado,” the brash son of Toranaga with a strong desire to prove himself; Yuka Kouri as “Kiku,” a courtesan renowned for her artistry throughout Japan; and Fumi Nikaido as “Ochiba no Kata,” the revered mother of the heir who will stop at nothing to put an end to Toranaga and his threat to her son’s power. Harold is somewhere around 45 in 1066, and James Norton is 38. William is 38 in 1066, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is 53. Maybe the article is wrong. Martell Spy
The Big Fallout TV Show Interview With Jonathan Nolan, Walton Goggins, and More "We kind of told ourselves, this is Fallout 5." https://www.ign.com/articles/the-big-fallout-tv-show-interview-with-jonathan-nolan-walton-goggins-and-more Quote In the teaser, we saw Walton Goggins' The Ghoul as a savior and a survivor in the end of the trailer. What is the vision that your character had about the work past the bomb attack? Walton Goggins: He's a bounty hunter. He's been roaming the world for 200 years. He is ruthless. He is not without morals. He has his own kind of moral code. He is pragmatic. He is devilishly handsome, with a wicked sense of humor, but he has seen the lesser side of humanity in some ways. He's the great observer in this world and takes the audience through this journey. And he's cynical, deeply cynical about everything that he's seen, but he wasn't always that way, right? I mean, The Ghoul has a name and his name was Cooper Howard, and I can't really tell you too much about him, but the chasm between the two is vast and yeah, so you'll see it kind of retro-engineered really like why his worldview is his worldview.
