Thanks for the correction. But does it not still give media outlets more leeway for what they can say about him?

My understanding was that she said that was the minimal amount he did, she just couldn't confirm if it was more that that but felt that it could be. Regardless though we already knew Trump is probably a rapist based on his first wife's statements.

Let's be real here.  She's not the first woman he sexually assaulted/raped, nor was Ivana.

The vast majority were and have remained silent out of fear of his retribution.  And I have to say, I don't blame them.  What justice did Christine Blasey Ford get? Or Debbie Ramirez?

Ms. Carroll is a very brave woman, and she did it for all of us.  Her life, like those of the jurors, are in dangers, so say the feds, warning them all today, again after the verdict.  It's only been the women evidently tough enough to face this authoritarian hater violent murderous shyte.

So was the understanding of Partner ... just read the NY Times, and while there are no quotes it does state she said he penetrated her with his penis.  So, then, if that happened, there is no basis no basis in any law to say it wasn't rape.

Purportedly there was a rightwing juror -- since the verdicts had to unanimous, maybe that is the explanation -- but, needless to say, I don't know anything.

George Santos charged by federal prosecutors.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/george-santos-charged-federal-prosecutors/

...though the exact nature of the alleged criminal violations is unclear. The charges were filed in the Eastern District of New York, and Santos could appear in court on Long Island as early as Wednesday morning.

Eh, there's some value in being able to start every article with a version of, "Trump, who was found guilty unanimously of sexual assault by a jury."

I guess you can't say "convicted sex offender" since this was a civil trial and that even though the verdict was that he probably committed a serious crime, he is still not a criminal under the law?

100%

I still can't get past Kavanaugh having all these creepy calendars that he kept decades later for whatever reason, and then one he cited possibly confirmed they were actually at the same party around the time she made the claim.

Either way it sounds like rape to me. And I feel safe saying Trump's favorite body part is at best the size of a thumb. Stormy said as much and she seems like an honest person, especially by comparison.

I want media outlets to test it at the very least. I would always try to be one of the first people to protect someone who was getting bullied, but I also think there are certain people who need to be mocked into oblivion. Not a single soul should protect Trump or his tiny penis.

He's not and you can't.

I suspect you could call him a "sex offender" without fear of a defamation lawsuit since a jury of his peers has found that he committed a sexual assault according to a civil standard and you might be entitled to a reasonable opinion defense.  But the same standard would not apply to media publications, I don't think.  Scot?

Not a political scientist but I think Rs get something out of not looking at prospective voters who would struggle to replace a broken window without financing and saying shit like "in the aggregate your economy is wholesale, with good ballast and blibberdorp. Blibberdorp, blibberdorp, blibberdorp. Smigglesmackle! Smag smag sigatag. Yes, I will take fries with that as I pretend to pretend enjoying slumming it with you repulsive creatures. Don't forget your list of RightThink jargons to bring to the voting booth, now! We wouldn't want you to need re-educating."

But that's just, like, my opinion man.

Considering the Republicans do this exact shit every time they're in power, I find this an uncompelling argument.

2016 Republican: "Oh god, the economy is in shambles! Barack HUSSEIN 'Not Born in America' Obama has ruined our great, pristine economy that Ronald 'Jesus Reborn' Reagan and *coughGeorgeBushcough* created! Those economic numbers are lies made up by his socialist, communist, and muslimist far-left media!"

January 21st 2017 Republican: "OUR ECONOMY IS GREAT! BEST EVER! SEE THOSE STONKS! UP! LINE GO UP WEEEE! WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK? MUST BE SOME LAZY LIBRUL LOOKING FOR A HANDOUT."

And I'll be honest, those economic "recoveries" under both Obama and Trump were largely bullshit.

It's a clear indictment of our current moment when Santos is far from the worse piece of shit in office right now. Honestly, I'll take another 100 of Santos if it means getting rid of MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Vance, Johnson, and all of the other Fascist Patch Kids currently sucking up the oxygen.

How about "confirmed sex pest", and "known sexual predator"?

I know David Pakman for the last 2 years has on his show always intro'd Trump as "failed former president", but he could, if it was his wont, extend that to "failed former president and known sexual predator", if that phrase would not create legal jeopardy.

I guess might want to hold off until appeals have worked through the system.

It is absolutely not a lie to say Trump has been found lible for claiming he didn’t commit a sexual assault.

Just glanced at your signature panel. Made me wonder what EHK would have made of the last 6 years in US politics. RIP.

To answer my own question, apparently nothing will happen to Santos as long as he's in Congress. And we know McCarthy won't expel him. Bummer. There's always a catch!
