Once, just once, before he hits the downcurve of his career I want Bruno to get the chance to play under a manager and with a team around him who'll let him focus on what he's best at for a whole season.

I have one word for this: hogwash! I have a hard time accepting the HBO version as well as the assumptions that are defended rabidly by the R+L=J crowd because I just don’t see it! Until these mysteries are spelled out in a published book and I’ve been proven either right or dead wrong, I’ll continue to believe that the tower of joy was simply a nickname Rhaegar gave to Maegor’s Holdfast, that Lyanna was mortally wounded by Sumner Crakehall, and that Ned found Lyanna near the ruins of Whitehall on the shore of the Gods Eye. -
I had one on the back of my neck under my hair a few weeks ago! I told my husband to take a Q-tip soaked in alcohol and kill it first, then gently extract it with a tweezers. I have no idea whether he was successful or not at removing it intact. They bury their heads into your skin, and if you don't get it all, it can be . . . difficult for you. I didn't want to bust his balls over it, but he's not the best at delicate maneuvers. All I know is that I have a small swelling in that area and it itches now and then, two weeks later.

This Arsenal team are amazing but I'm a bit concerned whether they'll be able to keep the team together. They're all pretty young so you'd expect the core could stay strong for another 5+ years of title challenges, but I think they'll be hard-pressed to keep them all. While living in London, playing in Europe, challenging for the league and having a settled club are great, I suspect the lure of higher wages and bigger profiles at Real, Barca, PSG etc might pull at least one or two of Odegaard, Saka etc away over the next few years. They aren't going to be able to give superstar wage rises to all of them when they hit late 20s.

NFL 2024: It's Draft Season You Sandbagging SOBs
DMC replied to Mr. Chatywin et al.'s topic in Entertainment
DeJaun is more just a versatile DB than an outside CB. I remember early in the process a lot of sites had him listed as a safety. Anyway, I do not think the Pearsall pick necessarily means the Niners are trading Aiyuk. Pearsall profiles more as a Deebo replacement as a versatile receiver - and returner. That’s not to say they’re trading Deebo either - albeit that’s the current chatter - but I expect him to be gone by next offseason at the latest when he can provide more cap relief. With Jennings a free agent next offseason as well, it was prudent to take a receiver even if they’re keeping everyone for now. As for the pick itself, not a huge fan and seems a bit of a reach. Really would have preferred they traded down. To be fair there are reports they tried and them taking up all the clock does support that. - Today

There's really a white CB? I don't know how I feel about that... I kinda don't like it. Is this what racism is? I just think about a white boy trying to cover a receiver and I get angry. -

Niners need a CB (and the white guy is still on the board… I may wind up having to eat those words!) but Lynch is still the guy in charge… so I expect a D lineman. -

For a guy in Texas he sure doesn't know what all in is. My guess is Guyton is the Guy and they think he will still be there at 29 and picked up a high 3rd rd pick -

Dallas picked up a high 3rd rd pick for moving back, hopefully we can still get best IOL. From a Detroit move this makes sense because they have a big need at corner. -

Fold them in half from corner to corner making a pyramid shape, then again the same way, then stuff the folded part into your pocket and fluff the edges that are sticking up. Does that even make sense?? LOL Another way to really up your scarf game is to use a long rectangular scarf, fold in half lengthwise, and use as a belt. If Errol Flynn did it, it can't be all bad. -
