mormont
The Fixed Term Parliament Act was repealed in March, btw. If Johnson wins narrowly but things get worse for him the Tory party have options. They can change their internal rules and have another election. Or, they can have a few folks go to Johnson and explain that if he does not resign, the usual generosity shown to former PMs in terms of lucrative board appointments, invitations to be paid lots of money for making speeches at nice dinners, etc. won't be forthcoming. Johnson being Johnson, he needs the money so he'll cave.

A wilding
How about him losing by one vote and then trying to refuse to resign on some technicality, with some of his cheerleaders trying to back him up? Possibly not a realistic scenario, but you never know.
Pebble thats Stubby
Maybe he looses, we get Michael Fabricant as PM. Boris then swaps identities with him and carries on?

So throwing up means the party goes on, Boris stays. Congratulations on raising a Tory btw.

Werthead
359 ballots cast. 211 in favour. 148 against. Jesus. That's worse than Theresa May's performance. Allies of BJ had said that that more than 100 against would be a "serious blow."
