Teng Ai Hui
It seems very possible that Holding and Kiwior will be Arsenal's starting CBs this afternoon. Edited May 7, 2023 by Teng Ai Hui
The Sunland Lord
Some English 19 y/o player, Samuel Iling-Junior, scored for Juventus, never heard of him before, is he supposed to be a talent?
Consigliere
Man, this has been a gut-wrenching season for Notts County. 107 points and it looks like they are getting knocked out in the playoffs unless they can overturn a 2-0 halftime deficit to Boreham Wood. Consigliere
That playoff between Notts County and Boreham Wood is a cracking game. Notts County have just equalised in the 97th minute.
Consigliere
What a game! Great comeback by Notts County - scored the winner in the last minute of extra time. The Boreham Wood keeper is going to have nightmares about that blunder.
ljkeane
A reprieve on the penalty front but it’s not looking good for Arsenal here. ETA: That’ll help. Edited May 7, 2023 by ljkeane
Corvinus85
Half time couldn't come soon enough. It's turning into a proper, top-tier drama.
Mexal
How has Newcastle not gotten a single yellow card in this match? This is fucking rugby.
Raja
Got a load of big lads trying to kick us off the park - you bet we're gonna waste time every chance we get Great result & good performance Xhaka so good
Mexal
Jorginho was immense. Odegaard is class. Martinelli so dangerous. Kiwior doing the job. What a match. We won't win the league with City winning likely 17 in a row to close out the season but we aren't going quietly either. ETA: City does finish with Brighton and Brentford away. Maybe they give us a shot. Edited May 7, 2023 by Mexal
polishgenius
City finished yesterday hanging on and timewasting against Leeds. They weren't great against Leicester either. You've definitely got a shot. Spockydog

Rorshach
Even if his left foot slips there, he needs a strong arm to push the shot away. Terrible goalkeeping.
Corvinus85
That's not a handball? It was somewhat tucked in, but it looked like he directed his hand to stop the ball rather than his torso.

Hard to tell, but it seemed like it hit the hand (in front of the torso) rather than the elbow (which was moving away from the torso), and my interpretation is that he sees the ball approaching his hand, and tries to pull it away, even if it's tucked in. Rorshach
Anyway, are United actively looking for a new keeper? Hard to see de Gea ever fitting in when ten Hag wants a keeper who can play the ball with his feet.
