Maithanet
Lions offense looks ready for a shootout. Which may be what they need to win.

Im really anxious for Jameson Williams to finish his 6 game suspension. Hes going to be our best deep threat, guys runs a 4.3 40yd, a blur out of Alabama. Wish we had him tonight. Also getting sick of these announcers whining about Kelce being out when we our missing our strongest deep threat and no ones mentioning that. Theyre the defending champs they dont need excuses for them in the home opener. My main concern right now is Detroit needing to take care of the ball in the red zone, they shouldve at least came away with FG's on a few recent drives. DireWolfSpirit
And sure as shit going into the half the sideline reporting teased some shit about how the Chiefs are doing w/out Kelce/Jones. Its the damn home opener, injury excuses are bullshit excuses, you battle with the army you got!

mcbigski
Great win for the Lions. Great mix of young talent, Goff redemption, and Dan Campbell. I think I'm on that bandwagon for my NFC team this year. DireWolfSpirit

Anyways. It’s a funny meme about Patrick Mahomes. Carry on with your business. Edited September 8, 2023 by Rhom DireWolfSpirit
briantw
Made it a full 24 hours before we got to call the Bengals a poverty franchise again.

Very clearly from his agent to spur up some public discussion. The "not believed to be in their plans" is counter to every statement made by the team and only Kelsey, of all the Bengals reporters, is reporting it and she's notorious for shit like this. That being said, I don't really believe Bengals will sign Tee to WR1 money and Chase to richest WR contract after making Burrow the highest paid player in history. If a deal gets done, Tee will have to take a cut from what he can get on the open market to be a WR1 for some WR needy team (like the Chiefs). Yeah, Burrow’s extension basically made it inevitable that they lose Tee.

I’d say it’s more about paying Chase. He will cost upwards of $30 million + once JJ resets the market. Not many teams are going to pay $55 million to two WR’s (Mulugheta will definitely be looking for WR1 $ for Tee). ETA: That Kelsey Conway also legitimately sucks, and they can still just tag Tee next season. Edited September 9, 2023 by Nictarion

dbunting
Lol... poor guy I work with had his FF draft last week and loved his team. Mahommes, Kelce and Kupp were his top three picks. Still should be a good trio but week 1 is a bust and Kupp on IR now.
KingintheNorth4
Brandon Aiyuk fucking MOSSED Peterson. What a disastrous performance by the Steelers offense so far. Rhom
dbunting
So Cinnci has the ball on the 38, 4th and 3 and instead of going for it or a long field goal, they punt?? Of course it goes into the end zone for a net of 18 yards. WTF man, go for it. The knee cap biter to the North would have gone for that shit! briantw
Burrow with a career low in passing yards and pulled midway through the fourth. Thank fuck I no longer have to watch an absolutely goddamn inept Joe Woods defense.

In all seriousness though Burrow is clearly not 100% healthy yet. Chase might have been right about not wanting him to rush back too early. Bengals only field goal came off a pass interference call that gifted them decent field position. Did Tee Higgins play today? Didn’t notice him in the box score.
