They have to. Trump can be many things to his supporters; but he can't be the guy it's OK to flip him off to his face.

And... omygod... he's a corn fed white guy from Iowa? Is he wearing a ballcap? Jesus Christ does he drive an F-150?!?

And that's how the MAGA movement ends. The wave has crested my friends. If this goes unanswered, they're screwed. If they answer (the only way they know how), they screwed. This guy's a hero. An American hero.

And would you want to dox that guy? Look at the size of him!

biblically terrifying

There is no need at all to be competent to be the above, and to break everything beyond repair, while committing endless, indescribable atrocities and cruelties.  They prove it, do it, every day.

It's long been normalized.

I wouldn’t say that exactly. It’s still news when a Republican in high office or high profile conservative thought leaders declares their want to ban gay marriage and let states institute sodomy laws again

I still see more of those types concern-troll about how trans people are the real homophobes(though that’s steadily being dropped too), in hopes of creating infighting in the queer community and peeling off some of people who’d like to consider themselves socially progressive and frame their reactionary advocacy as really progressive, though that’s steadily gone down I think because some are recognizing the UK’s terf phenomenon’s effect on political parties is unique and can’t be replicated in the US where things are much more polarized.

The language used today about trans individuals is nearly identical to what was said about the gay community in the not too distant past and it's made by the same people.

Agreed it’s why we’ve seen a dramatic decrease by republicans within recent years. The logic, or even just rhetoric used to demonize trans people or trans rights advocates(they’re coming for your children republicans, schools are forcing it on kids, destructive life-style, parental rights), can and are typically the rallying cry of the homophobe, the misogynist, and the racist.

Holy fuck. He said this out loud? In front of the peoples?

If unemployment were to hit 50%, labor market dynamics would be the least of this guys grievances. His biggest problem would be his diminishing fuel gauge; as he's tearing across the wasteland; with General Humungus and his marauders in pursuit.

He meant 50% higher than it currently was. In Australia (where he's from and the labor market he's discussing), it's at 3.7%, so he was suggesting 5.2-5.5% unemployment (and ~250k additional unemployed Australians).

As 2024 Looms, Neo-Nazis Are Returning to the Streets
VICE News built a database out of the public neo-Nazi actions over the last four years and it shows a dramatic increase year over year that's only growing

https://www.vice.com/en/article/v7byyd/2024-election-neo-nazis-visible-on-streets?

Quote

On a recent overcast afternoon in Orlando, Florida, 10 neo-Nazis gathered outside the entrance to Disney World.

Some wore skull masks, and their T-shirts were emblazoned with the letters OBS—Order of the Black Sun—the name of their group. One held a sign containing names of convicted white supremacist mass murderers, including Dylann Roof and Anders Breivik, along with the words “Let My People Go.” Others flew swastika flags, and one person waved a large flag saying “DESANTIS 2024.”

That, somehow, was just one of the neo-Nazi demonstrations that took place in Orlando that day. About 25 miles away, in the suburb Altamonte Springs, members of the groups Blood Tribe and Goyim Defense League, dressed in red and black, marched while chanting “We Are Everywhere.”

The rally was exactly one week after a neo-Nazi, armed with an AR-15 style rifle, walked into a Dollar General store just two hours north and shot and killed three Black people before turning the gun on himself. All over his weapon, written in white marker, were neo-Nazi symbols and slogans—many of the very same that were paraded outside Disney World seven days later.

The brazen, unapologetic hate that was on display in Orlando is part of a larger trend that suggests hardcore neo-Nazi groups after years of operating behind closed doors are feeling newly emboldened to appear in public.

VICE News created a database of demonstrations involving members of hardline neo-Nazi groups and identified nearly two dozen such events in 2023 so far—already outpacing the number of events we logged from all of last year. Even more striking, we logged a fraction of public demonstrations by hardore Nazi groups in 2021 and 2020 compared to those in 2022.

The resurgence in neo-Nazi street-level activity comes as FBI Director Chris Wray reaffirmed in congressional testimony this summer that “Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists” continues to pose one of the biggest threats to national security.  ....

You might get a giggle or two if you have Sirius XM radio.  Megyn Kelly is doing an interview with The Donald tomorrow.

Expect anything and you won't be wrong.

Megyn Kelly has become a major grifter to try and get back into the game, is willing to say or do anything.  Sucking up to Trump is just the most extreme manifestation.

I think she would like to moderate a presidential debate (although highly doubtful she will be invited to do so).

Now there is an attitude that will ensure you get the high-potential, A-team players on your team.  How does this guy's board not fire him immediately if not sooner?

He's the founder and CEO of his own company.

This attitude is sadly not uncommon: https://nypost.com/2023/09/11/boeing-execs-refuse-to-relocate-instead-taking-private-jets-to-work-report/

My mistake.

Only 250k more unemployed? Oh, that's not so bad. 'Shouldn't result in too many deaths or too much extremist politics.

The same proles who will be paying for the rest of their lives for bailing guys like this out back in 2009, they need to feel the pain so they can properly genuflect for the titans of capital that are generous enough to let them "not starve".

I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist. I think Greenspan once said something similar.

Color us not surprised.

Families of Sandy Hook victims have yet to see a dime from Alex Jones
Although documents show that Jones has a net worth of $14m, he's yet to make good on his court-ordered payments
