  1. I'M PRACTICALLY BEGGING THE MODS TO OUTLAW STUPIDITY, PRETENDED OR OTHERWISE, ON THIS FORUM. ONLY SO MUCH REPEATED INSTANCES OF ABUSED 'FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION' ONE CAN STOMACH. MAYBE WHEN NOT CRACKING DOWN ON FOLKS WHO'VE CRACKED THANKS TO THESE GENIUSES.
  2. This is the third time you're being obtuse when I wasn't abstruse. NO, I'M NOT SAYING ANY OF THE BS YOU SPOUT IN MY NAME. READ MY [REDACTED] POSTS. IM OUT OF PATIENCE DEALING WITH MORONIC ARGUMENTS. WHATS [REDACTED] HILARIOUS IS AN EIGHTH GRADER COULD UNDERSTAND MY POSTS BETTER THAN THE [----] YOU COME UP WITH TIME AND AGAIN. WT* IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN! IM SURE THEY HAVE SWEET DREAMS THANKS TO YOUR REASSURANCE. AGAIN THAT [REDACTED] WORD. IF I TALK ABOUT RAPE AS A GLOBALLY OCCURING PHENOMENON I'D LIKE WIPED OUT, WOULD YOU WANT THE DETAILS OF EVERY SINGLE PERPETRATOR AND VICTIM AND THE MO AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ROOT CAUSE AND TRAUMATIC AFTER EFFECTS AND EVERY OTHER DAMN SPECIFIC? BUT GIVEN YOUR HISTORY OF UNDERSTANDING ANALOGIES, GO AHEAD AND NEVER MIND. BETTER THAN YOUR FRUSTRATING MISINTERPRETATIONS WITH THAT INEXPLICABLE CERTAINTY. AT THIS POINT I GIVE UP WHATEVER HAPPENED TO RUSSIA BEING MORE MORALLY EVIL AND THUS MORE DANGEROUS. STICK TO A STANCE DAMMIT.
  3. I'm talking about entire decades of meddling into affairs, poking noses with shitty excuses. Not just contemporary events. And Western policy isn't just as simple as recognising them as independent states.
  4. I'd advise ranking danger not on the basis of who has the bigger larder but the one with the biggest appetite. Both were the same person till a while ago, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Agendas are muddled to me but the horrors are clear.
  5. Argh, because that isn't the analogy at all in the first place! Normally I wouldn't bother but considering you being civil and all- you can't sell any weapons when conflicts aren't prolonged and end with mass destruction very soon. Which leads to further public condemnation that leads to appeasement policies which is detrimental to their profits. Drawn out war can be milked for all its worth. Armaments aren't the only things being sold or bought, wartime logistics are far bigger. When billion of dollars are involved, I can't share your certainty. Umm, I wasn't. It was just an illustrative example. The West no longer enjoys an unchallenged monopoly in such affairs for me to restrict discussion to specifics.
  6. Why is it that belligerence of autocracies is the only factor considered in conflicts? It is not as if the replying 'democracies' are wholly innocent in choosing a plan of action (usually stupid but profitable).
  7. If that's what you could eke out of my post, I don't know what to say. Individual acts of violence in war can't be controlled by any corporate puppeteer. But state policies pursued to prolong, mitigate or end conflicts (whatever is in their interest) is certainly within their capability. Lol, no one is ever against selling too much shit. You don't cut open the goose laying golden eggs. It's like fuel added to a fireplace not a boiler. I didn't think I'd have to explain this analogy. Explained. Like how less vague-er? Do I personally know any defence contractor/s raking in the big bucks out of the Pentagon conveniently (oo coincidence) having global geopolitics go their way? Or our ignorance of such an individual/corp any proof that such influencing isn't happening.
  8. Erm... no. Your certainty over the level of control (or lack thereof) those multibillion dollar industries exert over global affairs is irrational. If there are billions to be made from war, I don't think anyone's incredulous nature is going to change the fact that the ones who seek those fortunes will try and exploit every capitalist democratic provision available (breaking what they cannot bypass with impunity) steering events in pursuit of that bounty. Murphy's Law exists. It's sheer fallacy to refute this by simply emphasizing your belief to be contrary. A sorry substitute for a logical rebuttal. What concrete evidence have you against the (I'll admit, cynical) conclusions drawn from the extreme ugliness man has shown himself to be capable of and more, time and again throughout history?
  9. That's only when things fuck up too obviously and irreparably. Till then expect them to not inform us of their nefarious schemes. Just look at the global defence spending increase over the years.
  10. Prolonging conflicts good for business of all sorts, chiefly arms. Restricting escalation is just to not kill the golden goose. Read sometime ago something here similar labelled conspiratorial so...
  11. Ran 3 kms after 2 years. Like the most running I ever did in the interval was to catch the metro or a bus. Few hundred feet. Me who could run semi marathons in contention now gasping like a fish out of water halfway through. Couldn't even manage a third of the pushups and whatnot calisthenics I could do earlier. Gotta get shipshape soon, been too long a lazy moaner. Nearly forgot the rush when endorphin kicks in.
