Do you have a problem with a woman happily eating a giant writhing snake god's entrails? Or people ripping off their own limbs and beating you with them? It also has a lot of jump scares in effect. Sure Mass Effect has some of it but it’s definitely a lot more PG. And yeah kids have been desensitized to violence more than sex just a reality of todays media. A lot of the appeal is the fairly bittersweet and complicated backstory - a story given in fragments and bits of dialog. The game itself is fun but missing on that may be not great. Yeah I didn’t mean to attack you in particular man, just a reflection about society in general have become prudes around sex but so desensitised to horrific violence in all mediums…. In solidarity, most of the rest of the staff quit, including the entire video production staff. Most significantly, Yahtzee Croshaw walked, effectively killing Zero Punctuation, one of the longest-running and most well-regarded video game review features on the Internet (to be honest the joke had worn out some years ago, so this might be for the best). Most importantly, ZP was effortlessly the Escapists' most popular feature, sometimes getting millions of hits for a single video.
