The Bard of Banefort
Depends on what point in the series we’re talking about. Overall, some of the top candidates would be Velaryon, Hightower, Strong, Reyne, Corbray, Darklyn, Mooton, Royce, Blackwood, and Bracken. House Wyl also has a nasty habit of causing havoc. So Graftons should be richer than those other houses mentioned above. King Jaehaerys II and Northern Sword

Northern Sword
In no way at all are the Hightower' a minor house. Craving Peaches, Lord of Oldstones, Terrorthatflapsinthenight9 and 1 other 3
Nathan Stark
I wouldn't count any of these options as "minor" houses. In Westeros, there are the Lords Paramount, and their bannermen. We are then shown how important these houses are relative to each other. Without having been propped up by the Targaryens for a couple of centuries, Houses Tully and Tyrell would probably be afterthoughts. House Martell was largely overlooked until they joined forces with Nymeria and her Rhoynish followers. A House can quickly become quite powerful under the right circumstances. The Houses on the op's list, and many of the honorable mentions, are of prestigious noble bloodlines, are quite old, and they each have considerable resources at their disposal in terms of manpower, wealth, or both. In addition, these houses tend to occupy lands that are of great strategic importance. These things being true, none of the entries on this list can be considered "minor." They might answer to their Lord Paramount, but if these Houses could step in and run their respective kingdoms in place of their liegelords, they cannot be considered "minor." A minor House would be something like House Westerling, prestigious maybe, but poor and unable to throw their weight around. But just because a House isn't in charge of everything in their kingdom, that doesn't make them minor. Lord of Oldstones
I agree. All these houses arent minor. Most definately not Hightower and Redwyne who are insanely powerful. All these houses are major bannermen and considered to be great houses in the universe. Great many boast royal past. Hightower bannermen will top the minor list but they also appear to be prominent in their own right. So, 1 Rosby (Rich & being close to capital gives good influence ) 2 Velaryon( Now turned minor but exellent lineage & small fleet) 3 Swyft 4 Hewett( Decent town in their island) 5 Massey 6 Celtigar 7 Serry 8 Grimm 9 Chester 10 Shett Northern Sword and Nathan Stark
