Probably not. He isn't short. Idk what his actual height is, but he's usually taller than most people around him.

Or is that what he wants you to think? Most of the time Tom Cruise looks like he's 6'3" in his movies.

"Michael McConnell, a former judge and professor at Stanford Law School, claims that keeping Mr. Trump off the ballot on grounds that are “debatable at best is not something that will be regarded as legitimate.”

The 543 word editorial that may have just upended the presidential campaign
The post by Trump calling for Obamacare’s replacement has lit a fire under Biden’s slow burn campaign.

https://www.politico.com/news/2023/11/30/trump-obamacare-repeal-00129223

Quote

Republicans thought they were done with their Obamacare nightmare. Then Donald Trump read a Wall Street Journal op-ed.

It was an item by the paper’s editorial board that piqued the former president’s frustration — one focused on health care industry consolidation but touching enough on the Affordable Care Act to reignite grievances about failing to repeal the law. And so, he fired off a post on Truth Social saying he was “seriously looking at alternatives” and that 2017’s failed repeal and replace effort was “a low point for the Republican Party.”

In a click of a button, a long-dormant campaign fault line was reopened.

The post lit a fire under President Joe Biden’s slow burn campaign. Significant campaign resources were quickly mobilized in response. Groups began preparing new ads calling for Obamacare’s protection. GOP lawmakers on the Hill had to take cover from inquisitive reporters asking if they backed Trump’s call. Advocacy organizations dusted off old playbooks.

“It’s a story that tells itself,” said Leslie Dach, the chair of Democrat-aligned group Protect Our Care. “He’s opening up a Pandora’s box of hurt.”

Gaetz's speech is fucking hilarious. And also terrible. Plus this:

Quote

Asked about the fact there are no Florida representatives in positions of leadership, McCarthy explained there's a "cross-section" of members from the Sunshine State.

"You have Gaetz," he said, "who belongs in jail, and you have serious members."

Is seems… ^shockingly^… that one of the founders of Mom’s for Liberty has a girlfriend she shares with her husband… a Florida State Legislator.  The Girlfriend is now accusing the husband of abuse and coercion (we’re all shocked I know).

For the record: if people want to do this consentually it is none of my business and I say… go with God.  However, when these same people want to use the power of the State to censor and shame LGBTQ people those seeking to censor and shame are fucking awful and should be publicly shamed for their unmitigated and incredible hypocrisy.

It’s always projection or confession w/ these types. Not at all surprised but thoroughly amused.

Whatever possessed them to lift the gag order in the first place?  What the hell did they expect?  Idiots.

When are they going to throw his flabby arse in jail? That’s what I wanna know. When someone motivated by his hateful rhetoric kills someone?

Not going to bother with a link, but it seems a prominent republican gave an impassioned speech about 'lazy workers demanding undeserved overtime.' Had to do with Biden's efforts to extend overtime protections to salaried employees. Interestingly, even many of the conservative commenters on the article disagreed with the guy.
