So I heard Wonder Woman only talks to Bruce in the entire film? Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Yes, her role in this movie is not a big one. But she is one of the highlights of the movie.

Also some of the critics (the professional ones, not you good folks on this board) need to STFU. I am reading one of the articles where the reviewer is bitching about Superman flying to Mexico (the word Mexico was in italics to emphasise his point) to save a girl. WTF is wrong with him going to Mexico? Has President Trump already built that wall? Is Disney running a campaign against the DC movies? BVS is not a flawless movie by any means. It has plot holes, bad acting and a few other not so great stuff. But imo, it is nowhere near as bad as the reviewers would have you believe.

Seriously... he even saved the French in Superman 2.  And if those yellow bellied cowards can be saved, then surely our hardworking neighbors to the south can get him for a minute or two!!!!

Although, had he let the Eiffel Tower blow up, Zod and Co would still be safely ensconced in the Phantom Zone.

I don't know, a buddy of mine just got back from seeing it and he called it a complete mess. I trust this guy a lot too, since he warned me Age of Ultron wasn't very good either.

I watched Man of Steel again before seeing it tomorrow. I made a point of looking out for times that he directly saves somebody (as in, specifically saves, I class destroying the terraformer as indirectly saving).......in the suit, not counting Lois? One. And he's a soldier, the guy who falls out the chopper. Oh, until the family that Zod's trying to kill at the end. So basically, not counting Lois, only counting civilians, and not counting times he had to commit murder in the process, it's literally zero.

Just got back from seeing it, and my initial reaction is "Meh". What really brought the movie down for me was how quickly they change their minds for what, to me, seemed like inadequate reasons. Everything just seemed so forced.

Pretty sure that this is what many who are going to see it that don't feel strongly one way or another going in will come out feeling. It seems that the movie is mediocre or just below mediocre but not really outright terrible from all I gather.

But that's just worse IMHO. If it can't be something truly great* than something terrible to have campy fun with like Batman and Robin would be a better alternative than 2 1/2 hours of "meh" which seems exasperating to me.

* and it really, really should be something great for what these two characters could bring to the screen and it's a crying shame it isn't!

Hahahahaha fantastic. :') Poor guy. Still, everything I've heard says that he's really good in the role.

Ben is acting like he's ready to ask the camera man for a noose in that vid. lol

Short story is it's about an hour and a half of spinning wheels and an hour of "Holy fucking shit, this movie just gave birth to the best moment of my life." It felt like the movie tried to be both a Nolany Dark Knight and a Marvel movie at the same time, but failed at both because the two tones just fought each other instead of meshing...ironic for a movie about two dudes beating the shit out of one another. First chunk of the movie was a lot of brooding character vignettes. Last chunk was over the top superhero porn. It's worth seeing, but as a whole, the movie falls short of living up to what it should have been.

I thought Batfleck was solid. For me, he's the best Batman we've gotten. Affleck looks like a Bruce Timm drawing come to life, his Batvoice doesn't sound like someone gargling kitty litter, and we actually got a Batman with decent fight choreography and an imposing presence. Alfred was the sixth man of this movie -- he stole his scenes.

Cavill played second fiddle to Batman throughout the entire movie. Cavill looks the part, but the performance was a little hollow. He was hurt by all the brooding. I thought he showed the most spark when he was playing Clark Kent, going up against Perry White at the Daily Planet. I don't know if Superman works as depressed and angry...not really his thing. Batman does it better.

Wonder Woman was the fucking star of this shit. Barely had any lines, but she had *by a mile* the best entrance. I never notice the score in a film, but her theme was like an atomic bomb square in the fucking face. She shows up and absolutely brought the house down. She's also the energy the movie needed. Bats and Supes are so fucking dour, but Wonder Woman shows up, takes on Doomsday, and she smirks while she does it. She was the only one in this movie having fun.

Actually, all the women in this movie had strong parts. I thought Amy Adams as Lois was good...not necessarily a fan of the casting, but you make do...I'm not sure if I remember much of her from Man of Steel, but I don't think I was crazy about her in that movie. And whoever played the Senator (I forget the actress's name) had limited screen time, but I liked her.

Lex was weird. Out of everything about the movie, I need to let him marinate the most. I might have come around on him, but only because of the last two minutes of the movie. It kind of explained his over the top performance. I just like my Lex a little less eccentric and dorky. We'll see how it plays out. PING, PING, fucking PING!

And lastly, the other easter eggs: I thought the brief glimpses at the rest of the League were fun. Aquaman looked great...really interested to see what Momoa will do with the role. I have next to no interest in Cyborg, but his tease actually looked cool as shit -- probably the coolest. I jumped out of my seat when Flash randomly showed up, after Bruce's vision. Not sure about the costume, but I like how he was used. His second appearance was run of the mill -- definitely a letdown after the first time you see him.

Overall, worth seeing. They need to take the reigns away from Snyder, though. He's not the dude that should be steering this ship. Apparently, Affleck is writing the next Batman movie with Geoff Johns, so I'm optimistic. There's enough in this movie to get you excited about the potential future of the DCU, but the movie itself falls short.

This, that little guitar lick and the smirk were awesome.  Really looking forward to her solo movie.

I did noticeably relax when they showed the first glimpse of her with the shield.  It was like, "Good, they've found something there with that casting and maybe there wasn't so much cause for worry."   Just from that 1.4 second look.    Like when a music exec hears a note or two and says "THat's a hit!"

Seems like this Batfight Movie is facing a huge challenge to keep pace with the grandeur of the first movie's superman planet and abundant spaceship ooohs and ahhhs.    A 45 minute Batfight with Bat-gimmicks just isn't going to reach that same plateau of coolnessity, so yeah they better bring in more than that and have it evolve into a whole nuther thing as it goes, because the showdown they're selling is ultra silly at its core.   If they make me feel emotional for this Batman then that'll be some strong moviemaking skills.
