OJ, not sure he should be wished to RIP though.

Nah, he's letting us virtually dance on his grave now, which contributes to well lived lives for the rest of us.

I feel bad for his kids, family and the family of the people who were murdered.  Other than that, good riddance and maybe now the rest of them can live in peace.

Whitey Herzog has passed at the age of 92. I’m glad that he lived a full life, but this one really hurts. He was the legendary manager of the St Louis Cardinals during the 80s and led them to the World Series 3 times, though they only won it once. (And, yes, I still curse the name Don Denkinger.)

Yosser Hughes, and its not even close.

Thanks for mentioning this.  I didn't know anything of this character or show so I read up on it.  And, while I can't claim to know everything there is to know of Bernard Hill's career, after learning a bit more about Yosser Hughes and the show "Boys from the Blackstuff", I think I agree this was a great character indeed.  RIP Bernard Hill.

Kevan Lannister. I've never seen him in anything else, but he was pretty solid in the role.

Ian Gelder. Actually in quite a few things including Dr Who and Torchwood.

RIP Steve Albini

Liked a lot of his music and things he engineered. In recent years, he had genuinely reflected on his edgelord past and expressed regret rather than doubling down like a lot of guys from his generation.

He had a huge influence on cinema as we know it today, as the Academy acknowledged when they unanimously gave him an honorary Oscar:

Quote

A true collaborator by nature with a keen eye for talent, Corman mentored many of the film industry’s best-known talents. Among the graduates of what James Cameron (“Battle beyond the Stars”) called “The Roger Corman Film School” are Martin Scorsese (“Boxcar Bertha”), Francis Ford Coppola (“Dementia 13”), Ron Howard (“Grand Theft Auto”), Jack Nicholson (“Little Shop of Horrors” among others), Robert De Niro (“Bloody Mama”) and Jonathan Demme (“Fighting Mad”).

James Cameron is the best known of his proteges.

ETA: Add Peter Bogdanovich to the list, mentioned first off by Corman in his last videoed appearance:
